Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

The Blue Camo frame colour is great and so I had to get it. It has a matte finish and is really standing out. I'm not a big fan of Grey lenses, but they are ok.

This is my only pair of Fatcats and I'm not impressed. Sure they look very cool in the display and I like the design with the thick O-Matter frame. But they don't look very good on me and the fit is even worse. Basically all Oakley sunglasses fit me, except frames that are just too big for me. But the Fatcat is squeezing my nose somehow and sits very high up on the nose. Also the front is very flat, making the wrap around my head a bit weird. The lenses are very small because of the big frame. All in all better for display and only three stars.

Frame: Cream
Lens: Gold Iridium

I bid on these on eBay as an impulse. No one else bid, and I ended up getting them for less than $50. I'm surprised at how aggressive they look. I thought they looked like a smaller, fatter, Monster Pup. I was right, but they're still pretty awesome looking. I tried them on after receiving them, and they looked so manly that I felt like I needed to beat something up or knock something over. I've been a fan of the Cream color ever since it was called "Ivory" on the Eye Jacket. Maybe Cream is more PC than Ivory. Either way, I like it.

Frame: blue camo

hey men, i´think this model is one of the most funnies. i´ve tried to achieve the one in cream but it´s been impossible. do you know where i can buy it? thanks

Frame: Blue Camo Stretchline
Lens: Gray

I bought these purely for the fact that they are the craziest things you'll ever see. I don't wear them that often, but MAN they're crazy! Classic Oakley!

Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

Just got these off Ebay yesterday and they are so sick I love the look. The only thing I will say bad about them is they create blind spots in vision. But this is all trumped by how great they look on me.
ShadyOak -
Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey

These don't really do much for me. They probably look better on me than I think they do, but they don't have the attention getting looks or the awesome functionality of most of the frames I go for. They fit ok, a bit snug, and the coverage is not what I'd want for driving. My opinion might change with some hot lenses like ruby or fire, but this combo is just blah IMO. Hmm, some custom cut ruby's in the matte black frame just might completely change my mind on this pair...

Frame: Rasta
Lens: Grey

Considering my affliction of the Monster line as well as the older frames this draws off, I immediately fell in love with the RASTA colorway and the stretch logo. It's in my display case because it's hard to find now / replace. Fit wise it's a bit smaller on my head, like the straight jackets or XX but I could still pull it off. It's true the lenses do rattle around a bit when they aren't on your face but when you put them on there is no noise. All in all a good addition to the collection!

Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

I was lucky enough to stumble across this pair at a local surf shop and immediately thought to myself I better get those before someone else does! So, thats what i did, it came with original red box and red micro-fiber bag. A tad bit small on my head but they fit, awesome color!!!! And with the Fat Cat being a strechline frame people notice that its not a "O" or the square O which is kind of rare where im from.4-5 bones

Frame: Whiskey
Lens: Bronze

I got these second hand and the whiskey frame still looks new. I love the different look of the lenses in the bronze color. While smaller than Monster Dogs, these glasses fit a similar fashion and get compliments (or comments) all the time. Overall, it's a nice, out of the ordinary design with a light frame and a great fit.

Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

The main reason I bought these was for the red Microfiber bag, since I was able to get them pretty cheap off eBay. However, once I got them I really started to like the color. They also fit my ginormous-sized head quite well. I don't know if I could pull them off though because they are rather loud. A good pair for the beach or for the display cabinet.

Frame: brown tortoise
Lens: bronze
I think these are a very versatile pair of glasses. Not to big, not to small. very comfortable... I have 2 pairs of them and I Love them... one of the reasons also is the stretchline logo, little different from the O on the frames....

Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

I had been searching around on ebay for these, never relaly saw a price i liked, then i stopped into one of the vaults and found they had a few pairs in, picked one up. Fatcat dont look the best on the but the blue camo is crazy. I love them.
BronzeT -
Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Grey

I purchased these pair mainly because of the stretched Rasta logo but after I tried it on I was hooked. It fits great and look cool but the lens rattle in the orbitals.Fortunately the other colorways doesnt appeal to me (maybe later it will) so I dont have to worry about completing the set.Overall its a nice addition to my collection.

Frame: Whisky
Lens: Bronze

The Whisky color is very nice color option. The bronze just adds to this model. I really like this color combination, but the problem is that you have the risks of the color peeling of the frame. so big problem
jumpman73 -
Frame: Whisky
Lens: Bronze

The Whisky color is very nice color option. The bronze just adds to this model. I really like this color combination. Hopefully Oakley will release more frames with this combo.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Tortoise
Lens: Bronze

I love this Tortoise colorway. Its even better with the Bronze lens option. Very cool looking. As always the Fatcats offer excellent eye coverage.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey

My least favorite colorway of the Fatcats. I like these for just ordinary use and its pretty versatile at being able to match with your wardrobe. Excellent eye coverage.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Rasta
Lens: Grey

Really cool colorway. I know its shouts out to Jamaica but I think it also represents Mexico and Italy. Very unique piece.
Dann -
Frame: Whiskey/Tortoise
Lens: Bronze

Two more to the list. The Whiskey frame is a vey nice option. Care must be taken to not rub off the coating, since that is a possibility. Tortoise is again growing on me as with this model. The two semi-translucent frames make the pairs appear somewhat lighter and more vibrant. The Bronze lens is adequate and helps shave a little off the price. Recommended.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Cream
Lens: Gold Iridium

Beautiful color way. The gold stretch logo is awesome. Stands out very nice in the sun. Eye coverage is excellent. Frame is very light weight.

Frame: Polished Black (Rasta)
Lens: Grey
The Rasta-colored logo on these is what attracted me to this pair. The fit is what has turned them into one of my daily wearers. I didn't think I would like these as much as I actually do. They have a nice tight fit, and there is just no way of getting around the fact that the Rasta logo is cool.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

Awesome frame! Really wished they came with different lenses. Oakley on the side is really cool, its like a throwback. Eye coverage is excellent as well.
Dann -
Frame: Cream w/Gunmetal, Matte Black w/Polished Gold
Lens: Grey, Gold

And I get two more making the total 4, with 3 left. I got these very cheap and did a swap on the lenses. I'm not a fan of all black frames, and the Cream/Gold seems like two shades of a similar hue. So I feel the Black and White theme looks much better, and the Black/Gold adds a nice touch of color to a neutral frame. As always, they're a bit flat, but a nice smaller Monster Dog type glasses. Good if you dislike the new square models coming out.
Tick -
Frame:Blue Camo
Lens:Grey
Fit is very good considering there's no Unobtainium. Style is cool especially the stretch logo down the earstems. This Blue Camo color is off the hook! It really stands out on your face.
Oak -
Frame: Crystal Clear
Lens: Bronze

Whoa, I love these things! This is one of the few FCs that came from the factory like this rather than being a custom (as evidenced by the lack of scruffs and scratches associated with such a process). They fit very well and provide great coverage dispite not having a 8-base curve. Certainly more fashion-oriented compared to other models that were out when the FC was introduced but not fully so. There's still that Oakley craziness in the design, so it stands out rather than blends in. The only problem with this frame is that the light bleeds through because it's clear. 4.5 out of 5 stars (rounded to 5).
LEX7 -
Frame:Rasta
Lens:Grey

Very cool frame but why o why does it have to have a grey lens, it ruins them, it means i cant actually wear these.
gonna try and change these to BI or GI.
Ed -
Frame: Crystal Clear w/Gunmetal Icons
Lens: Grey

Another custom combination created by scraping the brown paint off a Whiskey frame and installing the Grey lenses and Gunmetal icons from a Matte Black/Grey 'cat. The results look pretty good, and I'm hoping that Oakley will release some crystal clear frames in the future.
Ed -
Frame: Matte Black w/ Gold Icons
Lens: Bronze

A custom combination created by taking the lenses and icons from a Whiskey/Bronze 'cat and putting them in a Matte Black frame. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the gold icons stand out against the matte black frame. This was my answer to not being able to get a Bronze lens in a black frame.
Ed -
Frame: Whiskey
Lens: Bronze

Fatcat is becoming one of my favorite frames in the vast Oakley line-up. Perhaps it is the nice blend of fashion (did I say that?), aggressive styling, exclusivity, and frame fit that makes it especially appealing.

The Whiskey frame did not appeal to me at first, but I have since warmed up to it. I am a bit concerned about it's durability, since some have experienced chipping of the brown paint after use. It is a nice change from the usual one-color frames. As always, the bronze lenses are a treat for the eyes.

Frame:Blue Camo
Lens: Grey
Medium size exclusive stretchline style that fits just about anybody.
A nice and tight fit,and quite possibly one of the best frame colours ever (Blue Camo) make this a must have pair if you are a collector.
BrianJ1888 -
Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey

I love this pair. They seem to lock onto my face a little better than the MonsterDog, which is nice. Surprisingly little light leaks on these, considering how flat they are overall.
dan-E -
Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

Another nice O-matter frame from Oakley. They're kinda like Monster Dogs that's been left in the dryer too long, with less base curve, and just a tad more angled. They fit almost like MDs as well, which is good since the Dogs are a pretty verstile and comfortable frame. As for the look, the stretch logo across the earstems seems a little gaudy compared to the simple elegance of the "O" icon found on most other models but the blue camo finish is superbly done.

Frame:Fatcat cream
Lens: Gold Iridium
i saw a pair of these in 2003 when they didnt even came out for production.the frame color was cream whit gold iridium lenses an the stretch logo color was the same as the frame color not polished gold like they make them now.i felt in love with them but i cant find a pair of these anywhere.
Dann -
Frame: Rasta
Lens: Grey

...and I find myself buying another, only a year after a bad review of them. I've seemed to find a new love for them, or maybe the new stuff just rubs me wrong, and these seem that much better. Either way, this pair is just the Polished Black/Grey but with a new icon. It add a nice flair to the pair, and is well worth the low price point it's at.
Dann -
Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

Forgive my statements about the other pairs. The blue camo makes up for the rest. It's a nice solid piece and really makes a statement. I wore it with a pair of Orange Camo shorts and they sure did clash, but I love it. Great pair to own. Too bad they've discontinued it.
sparra -
Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

As with everyone else, I love the frame colour, but not a lot else. I'm not at all convinced by the stretch logo, which just looks tacky. I remember seeing these in Spain, when I didn't know much about the O, and thinking 'these look like fakes'. Not particularly impressed with Oakley's thinking here.
TiO2 -
Frame: Tortoise
Lens: Bronze

The Fat Cats are my answer to wishing my head was just a wee bit bigger so that I can wear Monster Dogs. They aren't as curved, but the coverage is still fantastic and they are super comfortable. I love the fact that they are part of the Stretch Line, because I happen to love walking down the street screaming Oakley.

One day...I want every color.
LEX7 -
Frame:Whisky
Lens:Bronze

These are gorgeous, I had never had a proper look at the whiskey frame in the fatcat, I only saw it in the dog.
this version is much nicer.
I love crystal frames and this one goes great with the bronze lens.
LEX7 -
Frame:Blue Camo
Lens:Grey

Blue camo is amazing. It is in close competition for best camo colour of all time with the Lil Jon Red camo.
very comfortable and perfect fit for bigger heads/faces.
Shame they come with the lame Grey lens as all the cool coloured monster dog frames seem to

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized

I was thinking of getting Monster Dogs, but the lens rake was a little too large for my liking, and once I tried on the Fat Cat, I loved them. They have the perfect size lens and orbitals to give you that stylistic look without overstating it the way Monster Dog does.

I love Polished Black/Black Polarized combo. Totally subdued colour, exactly what I want to give me that 'Hollywood' edge. I wore these to the beach the other day and they were PERFECT. Cut the glare off the water and I didn't have a problem getting these wet and covered in sunscreen, because they are just plastic. No unobtanium to get clogged and such.

I have my X-metal Juliets for the out there, technology driven side of Oakley. Fat Cat I have because they are just bad ass.

They are a little bit tighter than a Monster Dog on my head, but not too tight that they are uncomfortable. With the tightness that they are, they wont be falling off my head easily.

Try on a pair as soon as you can.

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Polarized

In the world of stereotyping Oakleys as wrap-around eyewear (which, realistically hold water pretty well), the FatCat is revolutionary simply for its flat, boxy style. Throw some sweet Monster Dog-like earstems on that box and you have a pretty stylin look. The big Bonus?: Bringing back the stretched Oakley script on the earstems is awesome! Not since my old Zeros ... it's been so many years! More hip than the Monster Doggle? Could be, but luckily I have no fashion sense!

Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey

Just picked these up yesterday at the O Store with no intention of buying any glasses when I went in there. My buddy that was with me said that he hated them, that was before he put them on, his mind changed real quickly and he is picking some up as well next week. I am usually not an impulse buyer but these looked great and totally different. They have a boxy look that a lot of glasses are going towards but they give it the Oakley style of course. I also like that they have the entire Oakley name in a metal insert on the sides instead of just the O. The last kicker for me was that you cant get them anywhere except for the store and occasianlly on ebay. Im actually getting rid of my Juliets for these.

Frame: Tortoise
Lens: Bronze

I am leaving my first review of the Cats untouched. At the end of that review I had said "if Oakley continues with it I hope they get it tightened up a bit." Man they did. I tried on two, the ones I bought and Matte Black, and the fit was spectacular. They were tighter and the lenses didn't rattle. I was extremely happy with the look. I never really wear my Os for sports so I can do well with this frame. I may even hunt down the Blue Camo again. I would love Polished Black with a Titanium or Bronze lens.
LEX7 -
Frame:Polished Black
Lens:Black Iridium Polarized

These look so cool.
I have been desperate for the blue camo ones ever since I saw a pic of them on this site but I cant find them in any stores in the UK. I tried on these ones and I must say I was tempted to get these as well as my planned blue camo ones.
I agree with Dann that they look like small monster dogs. the monster dogs are wraparounds but Fat cats are not, they are a flat lens pair of glasses so not good for sport, similar to the oakley Four/Mag Four shape.
Dann -
Frame: Whiskey, Black, Cream
Lens: Gold, Grey

Finally got to see these in person, and I have to say, I'm so glad I didn't buy without trying. They are very very fashion oriented, and I can't imagine why ski and surf shops are the only one who can sell them, as I can't imagine anyone using these for sports. The are like a cross between a very thick Four face and thinner Monster Dog arms. Interesting pair, but no good for me. Too bad Blue Camo is limited to this.

Edit: changed my mind and moved score from 2 to 4.
JL -
Frame: Whisky
Lens: Bronze

The lenses on mine are rattly and particularly noisy when i put them on, a noise like the lenses want to pop out. The frame however is very nice but there is no flex whatsoever in the frame so i would probably have to recommend Monster Dogs to those who have larger heads. Ok as a casual sunglass but can't compare to some of the other models Oakley makes.
Ed -
Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey

I must admit that I did not think much of the FatCats when I first saw pictures of them. Then, I saw some pictures of people actually wearing them, and they looked much better. Not the style I usually go for, but a refreshing change. I typically stay away from frames without nosepads or earsocks, but these are lightweight and have a snug fit, so they are still comfortable to wear. The gunmetal stretch logo looks cool with the matte black frame... kind of an "SI" FatCat. My pair did not have any of the problems that Phil experienced. Everything is tight and solid. Perhaps quality/fit/finish have improved over time.

The bright red Microbag is a neat little collector's item since it is unique to the Stretchline (so far). Same goes for the red box.
kingphilbert -
Frame: Blue Camo
Lens: Grey

This is by far one of the nicest frame colors I have seen in a while from Oakley. It would be a shame to see it not break away from the Stretchline into the regular styles. The Fatcat is a larger style a la the Monster Dog minus the wrap around frame. Boxed, flat daddio style lenses. The ear stems are slightly longer than normal, thick at the temple and taper out at the end. The fit is actually loose compared to most Oakley styles. They actually slipped down more often than not. One aesthetic flaw, the metal stretch logo on the stem kept popping off at the ends and wouldn't stick back down. When the frame was rattled you could hear the lenses shaking around. If these are a limited edition frame, wear them for a while and store them away, but if Oakley continues with it I hope they get it tightened up a bit.
