Color: Silver Kevlar and black

Another great case for your Oakleys. The Silver Kevlar matches my T Wire 2.0's, and my A Wire Spring hinges also fit nicely. Good protection for the price.

I have a few of these, Very practical and needed if you want to protect your Oakleys. The Oakleys are protected but they can still break inside of this. Still, it looks cool and serves it's purpose

This is a great all round pocketable case for smaller wire frames. I have a few of them in the older style without the icon. The E wires will just barely fit, but make it in there without getting tweaked.

Well, this is a great case. Just like the other soft Vaults, I gives the protection needed for you sunglasses.

BUT: Oakley.com stated that this one is also useable for the canteen, well watch out. The Canteen doesn't fit.

I have one of the originals without the metal icon. Great for wires or smaller glasses.

Great way to protect your wires. I have these for my Oakley prescriptions. The downside is that the Metal Icon's paint chips.

I give 4 Stars for the soft vault

Lightweight and compact yet sturdy. A perfect combination. If I were to nitpick I would say most glasses only just fit and zipping it up without catching the microbag in the zipper requires some attention

I have this one in plain black. It's very light but gives quite good protection for the glasses. I store my A-Wire 2.0 in there. The Oakley logo is a bit worn. but no other damage.

Perfect for when you're on go and you want to protect you're Oakley. Too bad it doen't fit X-metals. The Soft Vault is for using, a Vault is for displaying.

A decent case, but why can't Oakley include these with every pair of sunglasses? For those of us who buy to wear (and not display), a decent case is a necessity. Back to the case, it's small size is a definite plus and it does a good job of protecting your latest purchase when you throw it in your bookbag.

Perfect case for storing wires and to carry along. Made of sturdy material and structure is rigid enough that you can toss it around without having to worry about your wire.
UBERCHUCK -
The nylon case that I owned wasn't too squishy and I didn't have to worry too much about putting it into my Icon Bag with a large load of books. This is the perfect case for your day to day shades but I would upgrade to one of the vaults for protection of anything really expensive/rare. This is low key too, sometimes I get tired of pulling out the wire vault case and people making comments about how extreme it is.

these are sweet the ultimate application of kevlar for your most expensive wires

I Only wish that they made them in larger sizes

durable, light, and kind of dressy

I have 2 silver and black kevlar cases, and my soon-toi-be wife has the copper and black one. This case is simple, sturdy, good-looking protection. Although it won't hold a Why3, these cases are great for her C Wire RX, or my T and Sq. Wires. They also look so much cooler than the all-black case. I have also had luck fitting 2 pairs of wires in their bags into this case.

I bought one for a good price and freaking lost it. No O logo around just kevlar
Dann -
Looks like Copper and Black, rather than Black/Black. It only fits wires and maybe some small frogskin class glasses, but like the other vaults, it does it's job.

Edit: found out there is a Copper/Black, so that makes three. Also picked up a Black/Silver case which is equally as nice.

Mis-sold one of these by SGH for a pair of Eye Jackets in the days when I didn't know so much about the O - very tight fit. The small soft vault doesn't seem to have as much sturdy protection as large and medium - it seems more 'squishy'. However, this could be because mine is an older generation Ballistic Case.

great case for wires...offers a place to store your wires when travelling...i once fit my wiretap and choptop into it with only the microbag protecting the glasses...

I have two of these. Didnt see the point of shelling out for an A-wire 2.0 sh and a square wire 2.0 sh without having them properly protected. I have had both of the above mentioned frames in a bag full of heavy text books, thrown them about and generally just abused them as I new they were well protected. Only gripe is the little cloth circles did come loose which exposed the zipper to the inside of your case. Didnt expect to have to do a DIY repair job on a brand new case which most other sunglass manufacturers give away FREE with their sunglasses just to be sure the case you bought to protect your glasses wasnt going to scratch the lenses.

That aside, knowing that I am fat and have sat on this case without damaging the contents makes me pretty happy with them

Ok - this is a good all-around case, I use it for my A Wire 2.0 SH. However, the circles on the inside of the hinge are coming loose through no fault of mine, and started doing so very shortly after I bought it.

If you can, go with the Kevlar version. At any rate, this case does what it is supposed to and looks pretty good too.

When I had bought this item it was known as the Ballistic Case with a plain metal sipper as well. It's great for travel and when I want to have an extra pair with me. It's now the home for my Rx 05 and is a great case if you don't want to pay for a vault.

Color: Black/Black Kevlar

Since I have several pairs of Wires, I picked up one of these to help me tell them apart without needing to open each case. Although listed as Black/Black, the Kevlar weave on this case is more of a Black/Bronze. Unlike the standard Small Soft Vaults, the Kevlar cases do not have raised icons on top.

The perfect case for wires and other small frames. Just the right amount of rigidity without excessive weight. When they were first released, these were called "Ballistic Cases", and they were actually less rigid than they are now. I have one of the very early ones, and it is much "squishier" than the newer ones. Also, it has a plain metal zipper tab rather than the molded plastic one with the icon that is used now.

I like the kevlar case because it's lightweight, and because it doesn't have the huge O on it. I like the more discreet O on the zipper tab. Got it from sunglasses giant . com
