yeah its the ANSI safty code that they meet

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANSI

The ANS for eye protection is Z87.1, which gives a specific impact resistance rating to the eyewear. This standard is commonly used for shop glasses, shooting glasses, and many other examples of protective eyewear.

I really think it is funny that they have gone that hard after the fashion market.
It’s smart (good money and high turnover of what is in fashion and what is out) but funny to watch.

Still what is wrong with having a sport division and a fashion division?
So that you can have civilized world colors (something for work or the masses) and junebug butt colors.

Yeah I’ve seen a few of those, don't really know much about them.

However, they had chocolates for valentines that you could either use for an attack boost or collect and with the correct combination turn in for prizes.

Thats too bad.
It seems like they have a pretty active staff that mixes up the game play with specials like double points and a death knight appearence.

Where or what is the authentication that you can show me?

Is there a certificate, or even a blacked out invoice from Oakley, any sort of paper trail that can be verified.

Is there physical proof; chemical, physical, or optic test that were run on them to verify that they at least meet Oakley's standards?

I mean at a flea market I can get a fake Half jacket (lens and frame) that has an odd or unusual color unobtainium and lens (I have seen some Really bright – good colored lens on some fakes). Put them on a authentic frame and have a custom like some I have seen.

Lets not forget the real metal fake Juliets that were seen those off color lens would make a interesting set of customs in a real frame (no grinding necessary and probably the correct curvature)

Heck, I thought about buying a couple of the fake first gen Frogskins for the lens to put in my Authentic frames for display (the idea just doesn’t sit right with me though).

I just want what is right for the community at large. It just seems suspicious that someone has and is selling test or unreleased pieces on “the Bay” when VERO will pull almost anything at will.

I'm not saying that he is using nonOakley lens but, what seems more likely Oakley giving out experimental lens, getting a off lot lens and calling it something (like all the arguments over ruby lens generation or possibly the photograph itself makes it look odd) or cutting his own from nonOakley lens stock (I know you all have seen fireish, iceish, emeraldish fake lens on cheap sunglasses).

I don’t want to be negative but some of you are like X files fan boys in your belief, but until there is an official announcement for that lens color I got to say I think it is nonOakley stock.

anyone else suspect that he is getting ophalomic (0 power lens) lens from a glasses maker or safty lens and haveing them cut for an rare or custom lens.
