If you're into watches, a springbar tool works perfecly. You can pick one up on eBay cheap. It is used to remove watch bands, one side is shaped like a very small, flat crowbar. Absolutely the perfect tool for the job (and handy for obvious reasons). Get a hardened steel one, black in color, they are the best!

The high school I teach at was geting rid of these little carts from the library so I snagged one.
It fits perfectly between the sets of drawers that make up the table that my display cases sit on.
I have some old metal locker baskets that hold my boxes. On top is a small divided case that I keep Oakley parts and some watch parts and some small tools.
It doubles as a small workspace for lens swaps, custom work, etc.

They were the first X-Metals ever produced.

I have #992 still in my collection, I had 3 pairs once, wish I had all of them still! Hang on to them, definitely.

I asked that eBayer for another pic and he never responded.

Yup, Four S. I think the Ice lens came in a white frame originally. But that may be a stock combo.

I have only seen one pair of what I thought were fake Topcoats. They were electric blue, and of course, they were on eBay.

After returning a couple of shirts to my local Vault Store, I got a phone call from an assistant manager asking me to come back in because, due to a computer glitch, they charged me again instead of refunding my account.

The manager apologized profusely and very, very kindly offered me her 75% discount on a future purchase. Now, assuming that I can only buy one item with this discount, what should the purchase be???

I want it to be something that I will want to keep for a long time and use fairly frequently. I was thinking: Thump 2, Romeo II, Razrwire, or a GMT, or Judge.

What does everyone think?

We all hunt for bargains, and those are some steals for sure.

Sometimes I think of a bargain as a certain percentage off retail, like at least 35% off if the item is new.

But then there are those bargains that WE think are bargains just because it would be a cool collection piece, or you've been wanting one for a while, etc.

I think a bargain is relative not only to the purchase, but to the purchaser.

Last year I scored a pair of Titanium/Gold Juliets for $25, and this year a Green Saddleback for $225. I considered each a bargiain, but in different ways. Does that make sense?

Lately the Perimmon Black Square Wire 2.0's and the TiO2 Juliets withe VR28 Black have come in useful with the overcast days and on the nicer days it's been hatchets or other Juliets.

Those DNA shirts must run very small, cause my XXL was too small as well!

Those are so sweet, congrats!

I am really liking some of the newer titanium frames like the Crosshair, but this could be next.

Thanks for the pics.

I've put this out there before, but here it goes again:

I have all the tools necessary to do this, the problem is getting material to practice on. If anyone has trashed M frame or Blade lenses they would like to donate, I will cut a good lense for you for FREE (you provide the lens) when I perfect the process. I am close, very close to being able to do this with some consistency, I just need material.

PM me. Please.
