Frame: Dark Grey (Ducati)
Lens: Black Iridium

As others have already mentioned, the sleeker look of this particular colorway is due to the smaller lenses (lens?) that seamlessly follows the lines of the frame. This is what initially drew me to the Ducati version and after trying other colors on, it's also the only one that looks good on me. I also love the red "O's" on the temples. I do worry though about breaking these glasses in half when I'm cleaning them off with the Microbag - which I have to do more often than with other models since there is basically no frame, but I don't mind because the look of these sunglasses is just so cool. Now, all I need is a motorcycle and I'm set...or I guess I'd settle for a Segway.

Frame: Dark Grey

The new Zeros are awesome, especially the Ducatis. They do exactly what the Zeros were created for.....they're lightweight, comfortable sunglasses that maximize field of vision with optically superior lenses. They sit on the nosebridge and you won't notice them, even when wearing them for hours on end. Out of all the Zeros, I'd say the new Zeros perform the best. Like most of its predecessors, however, the new Zeros aren't exactly fashion conscious eyewear; they are indeed very unique in that it's far too advanced aesthetically for the current scene. It's very much something out of a sci-fi movie, very Transformers-like. Hell, it's like Oakley jumped the Decepticons' Soundwave and stole his eyes.

For being practical (for sports), having great optics, being lightweight, and fulfilling the purpose for which Zeroes were created, they get max points. For versatility though, I'd have to take off half a star since they are too forward-thinking for the current age. Still, I'd round off for a score of 5 since there's no 4.5 scoring available.

Frame: Ducati Dark Grey
Lens: Black Iridium

Pro: Very light. Good fit close to the face. Comes with 2 sets of nosepieces.
Con: Nothing Major.

I love these glasses. There's a good amount of flex in them to fit heads of all shapes. They tend to come down the nose a little bit under heavy sweat though. Since they sit close to the face (using the smaller nosepieces), the inside of the lens can get rather oily too.

Like most iridium, mirrorized lenses, they can scratch if not properly taken care of. I baby mine and they live in the bag that came with them if I'm not wearing them. I've moved on to Specialized Arcs for most riding since they're a litte more versatile. The Zeros come out for open trail and road riding where I know I won't end up under trees or shade.

Lance wore a pair of Zeros for the solo time trial in the 2005 Tour!

Most underrated sunglass of the year and the first thing you notice when you pick them up is the weight. These are the lightest and most compact shields I have seen. Pictures don't really do it justice, you have to see to believe. I actually thought these were going to be similar in size to the dartboards!

I absolutely dig any type of Oakley shield, except for the earlier zeros which were a bit strange looking for me. This design is far better and provides good coverage, they may not be attractive for casual occassions, but are ideal for any type of sport.

Frame:
Lens: Given the opportunity to borrow a pair of zeros for the weekend, I have been wearing them as much as possible. The standard zero design is attractive on paper but not on the face. The Ducati Zeros are a superior pair to the regular zeros. They allow for uninterrupted vision from side to side, although they are still designed for someone with a wider face than me. The rubber nosepiece becomes uncomfortable if worn for an extended amount of time. Overall I find the Ducati Zeros to be a good pair, really cool/futuristic looking too. I hope to see more like it when the Zero S series is released.

Frame: Zero Gray, Zero Ducati edition (red icons)
Lens: Black

New Zero (standard):
Picked these up today. So light, it feels as if a good gust would blow them to Kansas.
Wonderful field of view with the "frameless" lens, but the arms intrude into my peripheral vision somewhat. Not a dealbreaker, but I'd not use 'em to walk in heavy traffic or for road cycling, without my head on a swivel. There's NO movement on the face (probably because of their "anti-gravity rating"), they would be outstanding for mountain biking, if they were a little less fragile.
I actually bought them for use inside a modular moto-helmet, and their close fit, light weight and true all day comfort will work fine for that application.

Ducati edition:
The lens on this model is shallower vertically, with the brow of the lens cut down. Stylistically, it looks more hot-rod than the standard.
Of course, the downside is, it let's more light spill in over the top.
The Rosso Corse red icons are way sharp, and the Ducati Corse shield on the inside of the left temple arm is a touch of quiet class.
The "DUCATI" etching on the left lens is the least obtrusive of its kind, very subtle, and in keeping with the concept of the quality optics.

NOTE:
These shades were sold with either/or/both the Razorblade style, one piece nosebomb, or a pair of individual "teardrop" bombs.
I call 'em "teardrop" because they tend to fall off, sometimes unnoticed.
You'll leave a trail of tears and epithets while you re-trace every step taken since it dove away.
I continue to audition methods to make them STAY.

This is the best sunglasses for sports practices I've ever had. Very light and does not bother anything at all ...

Frame: Red Camo (Lil John)
Lens: Black Iridium

These arrived today, lovely and light, and a nice variation on the regular styles, the top of the lens is a bit high, but thats only because I'm used to a more snugger frame. The most noticable feature of these lens is the weight. Scarily light, I can't wait to see how they hold up when on the water. Giving them 4 Skulls, because I'm thinking they may be too light... We'll see.

Frame: Dark Grey (Ducati)

When I first saw these I was totally down with them. I had a pair of the New Zero 0.4 and was totally disappointed when they broke right down the middle. These have held up great. I am active and play in summer league softball and also coach football and baseball at the high school level and they have held up to the daily wear and tear that I put them through!!!

Frame: Red Camo lil Jon

Well I was feeling a little of the buyers remorse after I won them on ebay, but as soon as I got them WOW!! They are so awesome!!Trust me the red is perfect!!! You have to own them to appreciate them! I cant believe lil John does not wear them anymore! They are light and perfect! People will say "I would never wear those!" but trust me they will have a hard time not staring or giving them back to you!! You gotta fight just to get them back!!!

Frame:Polished Black

Since zeros are by far the most comfortable oakleys and have great coverage i needed a pair with a lighter lens for biking and in low light and these are perfect, the polished black arms look great in contrast with the pinky lens.

Frame:Dark Grey
Lens:Ruby

In my eyes the new zeros are by far the most comfortable glasses that oakley do, when you change to the new style nose pieces that is.

they are so light you cant even feel them on your face.
when i saw these customs i didnt hesitate as to have the awesome colour of ruby on a large sized lens. i believe these are the same size as the ducati ones, so quite small but the coverage is still better than most oakley. the perfect sports model.

They're definately a great looking pair of sunglasses. The lense design is actually different from that of a regular Zero, so be aware. The lense is actually smaller.

Definately a good piece for a collection.

These are really radical for looks. Not so much for practicality. I like them a lot but not as much as I liked my Dartboards. They are very comfortable and lightweight but don't offer a sturdy, no worries though. The color combo on these is awesome and I'm definately glad that I got these.

Frame: black chrome
Lens: Titanium Iridium
Weight: Zero
Problems: Zero

Should fit most faces except the really narrow ones. 3-point fit, Unobtanium nose pad and ear socks provide snug fit and glasses stay where they should. One-piece lens provide wide range of vision, widest of any glasses I've ever worn. Titanium Iridium lens are the best for shielding the light. Black chrome ear stems look incredible!!!! The best of the current Zero range!

Extremely light weight. Really accomodates head shape. My head is huge and the frame/lens stretch out very well. Eye coverage is excellent. The design is also very nice.

Frame: Dark Grey (Ducati)
Lens: Black Iridium

This was my (Dawn's) first pair, and only zero we own. I love how light they are. It fits my Japanese face so well. Stylish with the large lens, yet sleek enough that they're sporty. And you gotta love the red O. I would highly recommend this pair to anyone, I think they'd be great "daily beaters".

Tried these on in my dealer. They are very light but they also feel kind flimsy when you put them on. They look freakin sweet but I'm afraid of snapping them.

Frame:Red Camo
Lens: Black Iridium
Put these on for the first time today. Awesome glasses, the Red Camo is sweet. These glasses are extremely light to wear. Single piece lens is nice to look at. Overall, I'd wear these, in the hottest conditions simply because of their weight. I have a really wide head, and find that they fit great. I definate buy.

Looks better in womans. Very good vision through the lenses and a very lightweight material. Recommended ;)

Frame: Matte Black

Incredibly light! Fairly big, but not too big.... like the Zero L. Like the G30 lenses, nice contrast for when it's a bit cloudy. The perfect pair of glasses for mountainbiking in the woods!

YEAAAAAAHHH!!!Lil JOHN...i love the frame!! red camo is one of the best colours out there ...and it should be used more often.
Once again amazing contrast, really light on your face and an awesome fit!

These are really lightweight glasses. I use them mostly for golf. The way they fit is a little different, but they were my first pair of Oakleys.

RED CAMO!!! Need I say more. the Only thing I wish is that Oakley would make more styles with this frame.

Frame: Black Chrome
Lens: Titamium Iridium

As a fan of the old 0.4s and not a big fan of the "face shield" look, I didn't have too many expectations for the new Zeros. I was pleasantly surprised at their overall design. The lenses are a good size and the vision and clarity is as good as the M-Frames. The fit is also surprisingly snug, since all the built in "spring" is in the curvature of the lens. A good product to carry on the Zero line.

Frame: Grey
Lens: Black Iridium

These have grown on my over time, I really quite like them now. This Ducati pair looks really cool and has quality red icons, however, I'm not convinced about how they look on the face, they sit a little too high on the nose for me personally.

Frame: Black Chrome

I was just about to buy these when I realised that they are a bit too tight on me. I'll probably still get some and just stretch them out. As for the weight, the name says it all.

Frame: Red Camo
Lens: Black

For what these are, they are freakin awesome! Sure, they don't have the universal appeal of the Juliets. But for a return of the shield and a sweet new style, the Zero brings a wicked look and great feel to the mix. Definitely a style for those of us with larger noggins. Different, so I like it!

I saw J wearing this and I asked him if I can try them on and damn this sh*t is nice. I wouldn't mind having one.
LEX7 -
Frame:Red Camo
Lens:Black Iridium

I just got these today and man are they cool, these are very light weight and super comfortable but the really special part of these oakleys is the Red camo frame. It is by far the coolest colour frame I have seen on the zeros (main reason why I got them) I just hope they bring out some more Lil Jon oakleys.
NeptuneTQ -
Frame: Jet Black
Lens: G30 Black Iridium

I don't mind the shape of this lens at all. It's big, but that gives the whole effect of it being like a face shield. It's got a very futuristic look, and it weighs practically nothing. I hardly ever wear my pair though because it's a bit TOO futuristic looking, and doesn't really go with my standard attire. It's generally restricted to special outings for me.
Dann -
Frame: All except Ducati

I tried on the Zero's when they first came out and I really didn't like their look. They came out too wide, the lenses too high (imagine the Zero L's...), and felt like 3-D glasses. However, I received a pair of Ducati zeros and they are really a different pair of glasses. The lens doesn't rise up at all, it follows the contour of the frames, so everything is in line. I highly recommend that pair, but not the rest.
Dann -
Frame: Zero Grey
Lens: Black

I just got these pair for my birthday, and the lens shape is different than the standard Zero's. The frame leads right into the lens and doesn't bump up as much, so it's a nice streamlined look. They also don't appear to stick out as much and look like futuristic specs. I'm very happy with this pair, even though I was skeptical at first.
