As I have been restructuring my office and readjusting my collection - my O shoes have come to light. I'm not sure if there is a dedicated O shoe thread or not but I was curious to get some feedback - especially from some newer members - about their O shoe experiences.... As in what your favorite pairs are and what you have experienced with them....

I'd have to say my 2 favorite pair are Flesh and the original black SI's...

For me they have been indestructible. Been thru the mud, rain, snow and dishwasher multiple times....

What are your experiences?

I love my Smoke Sandals! I can comfortably wear them all day long...in the summer. They're not good when it's -27F

Definitely the 6" SI Boot and the Casing Mid for me. I love both of them. So comfortable and warm, but they both squeak like hell. Almost slipped more times in them then I care to admit, too. But still, great boots that I wear all the time.

The only O shoes I've ever worn (outside the house) are my charcoal SILK's and I highly recommend them, very comfy shoes for just kickin' around or wearing to work. I can stand in them for hours and they don't make my feet hurt. They also look very stylin'.....what else do you want from a shoe?

My Flesh and Flesh Net are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. But I have not tried other O shoes. So for now, they are my fav ^_^

I haven't had the greatest experience with Oakley's footwear. My first pair was a shoethree and they started to peel so I ditched those, plus they made me run like girl. I then picked up a bright blue pair of Flesh and they got all kinds of comments from strangers. "Nice flippers", "You are ugly", or "Nice car ginger balls" - those kind of things. They were comfortable though. I have a Humidor which I never wear. I don't like the way they look with shorts. Socks on or off, they make my legs look hairy. I do like my Smoke sandals though. I have had a few pairs over the years. Always get the job done. I also like my Split Crater. Absolutely despise the Straight Jacket sandal. Probably the worst pair of sandals I have ever worn. Apart from the current sandals I own, I doubt I'll buy another pair of Oakely footwear to be quite honest. In fact, I may sue over the "Ginger balls" comment - that one hurt.

I would have to say the SI shoe is my favorite, followed by the flesh, then the chop saw...oh wait, then there's S.I.L.K...they are all pretty good.

I'm with Nik and Francois. My original Flesh I have had for YEARS and they are still as strong as ever! There is no way they will break! The only problem with them is the heel has worn down heaps on one side (the pronation thing your feet do naturally) so a nice new pair would be great, but Oakley discontinued them ages ago! I had a pair of Bottlecaps to replace them, but theives stole them after a break in.

What about the Bivouac ?
They could be a good replacement.

Flesh served me well until the plastic in the heel ate through the covering and dug into my ankle. Moved to a Go Kart, but those weren't good overall shoes. Settled on the SI boot, and then the SI shoe, both which have lasted years and are still going. The Casing is also a great winter boot and is still like new. But I only wear it in heavy snow.

Now go home and get your shine box.

Great thread idea Nik. Right now I have more footwear than eyewear.

Oak is spot on; if you need a winter boot Casing Mid is excellent. They work in the -30 cold of the west and the freezing rain/snow of the Atlantic.

I've had different experiences than Rick. My first pair of O footwear was Shoethree and I can't see them ever falling apart.

I've only had one bad experience and that is with the panels on the Smoke 3.0 lifting up. My Box Top on the other hand is all leather and the most comfortable sandal I've worn.

Centerfire and Crank are my favourites (I have 2 pairs of Centerfire - so good) and I think the regular S.I. boot or shoe will be next on the list. Hopefully some similar footwear will stay in the lineup.

My favs are the O-Shoe, Nail low, and the Flesh. Some of the newer shoes don't have the arch support I'm looking for.

My SILK Low's are pretty comfortable. Lowball sandals are ok. Strap shoe is ok. Ive got a pair of Skillets arriving soon, hope they work out nice.

The sole on the lowball sandals is starting to come unglued. Sucks i only wore them all summer and already some serious wear.

I have to say, the Silk Low i wear a couple times a week, had them for over a year, almost no signs of wear. Awesome quality

Nails in black: make me look taller and they are badass.

Flesh and Bottlecap Flesh: I cannot kill these shoes.

Humidors: Lazy shoes, feels like your wearing slippers, sorry I only got one pair.

Hmmm, if you really want to look taller and badass, I think you should give consideration to one of the lesser-known O Shoes: Pit Shoe

Not my pic, but I do have this pair. Fair to admit, though, I can't claim them to be the most comfortable pair. One of the more entertaining, though!

I love the Sequel (they came, but not limited to the Fluoro Camo pakcs) and the Casing Mid.

Paul, I would love to own a pair of Pit Shoe, it looks great and bad ass man !

Nik is quite right, Flesh and there was another similar looking model are very comfy, I think they just have been re-released too.
