Easy answer: It doesn't matter one year later. Nothing has a permanent effect. - Dann

Sadly true.

I was talking with a friend about how much the comics can be complex.
I read quicky the wiki page of the clone saga.
How difficult it would be to follow that ! I would totally fail to understand who's who and does what :'D

Oh yup ! Correct :)
I always get confused with this one. Mr in Fracne is written M. and I've always made that mistake for M. Bison
Never learning Haha !

I played a lot of street fighters when I was in my teens. I liked the final fight very much.

In Japan, the last character of Street Fighter 2 is named VEGA, not Mr. Bison. - O_taj1242

The names of 3 out of the 4 Grand Masters of Street fighter 2 (and subsequent episodes) are messed up outside of Japan.

Japan / US
Mr Bison / Balrog
Vega / Mr. Bison

I used to listen to vinyl for the street cred back in 2001 or so, but moved more into the mp3 and streaming as the years went on. Decided to get a nice setup and move back into the physical copies of things. Probably a mortal sin to be connecting the turntable to bluetooh speakers, but hey, whatever tech does the job.

- Dann

Good ol' classic vinyl !
Great purchase.

I ran it into a wall, and almost in a tree for now. Those are quite resistant ^_^

Looks like quite a big work, but I've never been a fan of that type of customs.

BTW, I don't really get the point of copying Tater's job here. No offense, that's just to understand the process.

Is that just to say "look, I can do the same !"

Sure, anybody could draw A Picasso-like portrait. But that doesn't mean there's the same intent and artwork history behind. And that's why Picasso paints are so absurdly expensive.

I 100% prefer when you create and do original stuff. That's when you're at your best.

I see. And figured there would be a degree of "bashing", which I don't mind. 1 thing to. remember, I didn't copy them. These are holbrook not frogs, they are done with slight variations to avoid any potential for grief, and they were done for a major collector who has a few ap I believe. To each his own for sure, and everyone doesn't like everything that I or any others do.

Funny though that level of grief isn't expressed over an atmos theme, blends theme, fade/splatter, Rapha, Night Camo, Blue Camo or any other similar style is done. Or even worse, when images are printed and stuck to something and called "art". Luckily things are what they are and the respective owner is pleased. That's the important part. Would I reproduce them on a frog, no. So have fun with that. And yes, I too have more fun doing my original things. Maybe I'll just charge $1000 plus (not including the glasses) like he does so I don't have to do everyone else's requests.. - DrChop

No bashing Josh. No bashing. I just prefer when you go creative and that's what I expressed.

I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not here for that.
I wasn't a big fan of Atmos stuff, nore blends or Rapha.
Splatter? Yes sir, please. Do a lot of variations, even some chrome ones (crazy stuff !). You improved the original thing. And I don't remember you wear comparing your work to Oakley's. It was just a matter of doing something Oakley was not proposing anymore or had never proposed on some frames.
Other types of pattern ? Again, yes please, when it's to propose something not already done.
Blue, night, pink camo, ... you name it. Put it on some badass model and that's a go.

When I think "DrChop", I immediately think about that USA Flag Chrome Monster Dog. Sure, there was chrome dogs before. But you've put it to another level.

If those Tater Holbrook are a special order, it's a different story.
Your customer will be happy because he'll have a tater like thing.
Still, he'll see them as Tater holbrook, not DrChop holbrook.

Put your stuff at prices you want. But price is not about how good you are at something (otherwise, you would already be fucking rich for your paint jobs), it's how hype your work is in the Art sphere. If you think your stuff can sell for 1000$ why wouldn't you do it ? You do one pair and sell it for the price of 5 or 6 paint jobs. How much time you'll save or how much money you'll stock !
Why don't you do it ?

850 euros.
Which is pretty affordable compared to how rare they are and the collector potential.
