Most hated X-Metal model, but one of my favorite to wear.
Way more comfortable than the original X-Metal with their spring hinge (Penny had it too), large coverage, and most importantly no premature degradation of the nose flex, as there's none.

I went running with them and felt the stems sliding on my head.
Also, there are some sharp edges on the frame, probably where front and back molds meet.
Pretty disappointing.
Luckily, they look good. Otherwise, that would have been an immediate return.

Well, they arrived yesterday, and well... I was expecting a more sporty stuff. I miss some rubber at the stems and as I thought (despite some mates claim you can use the Jawbone rubbers), the lens is too "flat" despite the frame isnt...

... I will use them on the bike at some point, I hope I don't see flying hydras like I did with flying Sutros (the standard, not the S version that I like a lot) while going downhill or mountain pass.

Got inspired by a great IG account who post amazing portraits of techwear with Oakleys on. Tried it but was not convinced with how it went, so I just ended up in a sleevless puffy jacket for a simpler portrait.

That's where it is very important to get real pictures rather than computer generated ones.

The color of this yellow is definitely not what I expected it to be.

I really like how they tuned the frame slightly, keeping the original form, but adding a few nice touches.

They cost me €319. Are they worth it?

They're worth what you're paying for.
For me, that's another pair that should be in the 150-170 range, with 50 extra for the special box and plate.

An engineer in that field could probably breakdown the costs, but I'd assume they do a 10x profit, at least.
Is the box aluminium or plastic ?

if they release other colorways in standard package for half the price, I might think about it.
I really like this matte smog frame, though.

It reminds me of the Frogskins Moto collection

I like it to be honest.
I'd go with the Pleasure colorway
