Ah, those are actually the 67s, but are even more difficult to find than the original Hybrid lens. Beautiful glasses! Congrats!

wait, Hybrid and 67 are different? DAMN!!!! Now for another hunt, even harder. I guess this will do though, for now. What the hell is the difference? I guess it's cool, especially since it is a 100% brand new lens and it came from Oakley, not ebay.

The difference is very, very subtle... but it's there. I would actually prefer the 67s (that you have) because they are so much harder to come by. But since you're on the hunt for the sentimental value it will still be fun to chase down your Hybrids yet.

The 67s have a little less "curvature" on the bottom of the lens and actually "touch" the frame where your temples are. In contrast, the Hybrids have a little more "curvature" on the bottom of the lens + maintain a bit of "space" near the temples. I should have some pics of the differences in my collection for reference (check these out: M Frame Crystal Blue/Persimmon 67 vs Pro M Frame Black Hybrid - that should show the subtle difference in lens shape).

actually I see it in the pic scanned of the Magic Mountain trip. Kind of like pitch and path in Radar lenses...Crap. Now to see if there is a Hybrid, which is what I specified, floating around still. Fingers crossed....Again. I guess I will hang on to this one and maybe try to find another crystal frame and make a both versions.

Josh, very nice. Reminds me of my first M, the Crystal Clear/Blue Ir Sweep. I always wanted the Hybrid though. And, good score on the 67 lens.

Thanks Phil. I had a sweep lens in that frame for a long time that is also new, but has some hazing in it...Looks nice, and obviously would never be worn more to protect the brittle frame, but just wasn't right. Too bad I am still on the hunt for the correct lens!! I will certainly "Settle" for this one though HAHA

I'd offer to sell you mine if I wasn't terribly attached to them! :) Nice find on the 67 lens! I can only imagine the crazy stuff they have floating around at the factory.

Haha..I'll pass. I missed a couple due to posts in public in the past. I think I can obtain one in the future with patience. If this is the hard one to get, I will gladly hand on to it.

Awesome combo Josh, well done my friend!
Thanks sir...I also greatly appreciate the looking out, too bad the guy remained the scalper and not willing to help those who helped him in the past. Karma though, it will catch him.

I never thought I would find the lens, well actually I haven't still, but close. Just very excited this one is brand new with no flaws!!

I do have a new Gold Slash lens I would swap for a Hybrid blue though...

Where were you when I was on the hunt for a Gold Slash, haha. But seriously, that pair is a thing of beauty. Vintage M Frames are never a bad thing to have.

I love those old m-frames. I have to say that the newer m frames doesn't do anything with me. But those old ones are pretty cool. Still gotta get me a splatter one with some nice vintage lens (hybrid preferably)

I feel ya. I didn't know you were on the hunt or you would have been numero uno to contact....It is standing in the cabinet on it's own without a frame to complete it. Question on those...Did the foam come on the frame or the lens?

On the frame. And I was looking for the whole piece, so no worries. Just need to knock off that White/Clear one now. I have an ebay alert set up, but so far only fingerprint and +red ones have shown up.

I have seen those a few times. Just never really into the Slash, but the lens was kind of different, so I got it. HUGE by all means, that's for sure.

Not sure which this falls under, but seemed like a good place to put the pics....Washed and Polished...need some PW shots for the thread. Dann will try and get a few good shots of just the truck for a possible footer as well. What size does the footer need to be??
