My old man bought me my first set of M-Frames(w/Mumbo Hammers) when I was 9. I've been hooked on Oakley's since!

I guess I'm lucky. The local O-Store I frequent(although not much recently), everyone there knows their stuff.
Even the new folks. I guess it's hit or miss depending on your region.

I've gone to play golf in 90+ degree weather and realized I forgot to grab my Half Jackets out of the car, so I've ended up soaking the ear socks of my X-Metal XX's. If they were still easy to get I wouldn't have minded.

I was in NYC this Saturday and demanded that the group of friends I was with made a pit stop at the Time Square O Store.
I ended up grabbing a set of Chrome Iridium Holbrook lenses.

I cut them to fit one of my Polished Juliets last night, but ended up throwing the Chrome lenses into a Carbon frame until I get my hands on a spare Polished frame. They look pretty sweet against the Carbon orbitals, but I know they'll be way sicker in a polished frame.

I'll post pics this weekend.

That's a great store for clothing. I bought about 3/4 of my current wardrobe there earlier this summer. :)
Looks like I'll have to go back!

I wish the gold lenses I got with my Ti frames recently were in decent condition. Congrats on your find!

I need a couple extra bucks to fix my Jeep, so I'm selling a few things I haven't worn in a while.
Glasses:
Montefrio Polished Black Limited/Grey 03-560L1 Worn twice since new. Great Condition w/Matching Box
$60.00

New Straight Jacket Blood/VR50 04-256 Worn a bunch of times since bought used. I can't find any blemishes on the lenses. The frames aren't perfect. There's a small amount of paint missing from the left orbital. I was slightly careless removing the lenses for cleaning when I got them a while back. The earsocks look and feel new.
$40.00

C Wire Platinum/Emerald Iridium
05-804 Worn a bunch of times since bought used. The earsocks would need to be replaced. The lenses look used. They certainly aren't new. The frame however looks great. The spring hinges are springy and the only blemish is an extremely small amount of oxidation on the right orbital near the hinge.
$30.00

Eye Jacket Cobalt/+Red Iridium
04-009 I've worn these a handful of times, but I got them with the worn-looking lenses. They have a bunch of hairline scratches, however they don't impede vision. The frame looks perfect. I can't find any missing paint, and the ear socks look and feel new.
$50.00

OO Gold Oxide/Leather Gold Iridium 05-450] I've worn these once since getting them used. The frame is in near perfect condition, however the lenses have a few small hairline scratches and pinspots. The earsocks are in good condition.
$65.00

Lenses:
OO E G30 Iridium Lenses ONLY
A few small hairline scratches. Nothing that I could tell as being a nuisance while wearing.
$25.00

OO Blue Iridium Lenses ONLY
One lens has a couple weird scratches on it, and the other is near perfect.
$25.00

Everything is OBO, sold AS IS and does not include shipping. I accept Paypal. I'd prefer to only ship within the States, but if you're outside the US, we can talk. I can take detailed pictures of things as people request them. I've been procrastinating putting these up because I didn't have the time to photograph each frame in depth. PM or email southside dot dan at gmail.

My only two relatively rare pieces:

Black Leather Mars

Ruby Clear Why 3

I've got two Crystal Clear/Blue Iridium Hybrid1 M-Frames in my collection, but they weren't really rare back in the day, I suppose.

I'm hoping to pick up a Rootbeer Pit Boss to finish up my trio and find a tower locally for under $100.00. :)
One can dream, right?

This year, I added a bunch of frames to my x-metal collection. A Titanium/Gold Juliet, first gen Plasma/Fire...
Maybe I'll find me a Polished/G30 and Polished/TiClear before this year's over!

thanks fellas...

i did a brief comparison to my polished chrome inmates and under a halogen lamp, the crosshairs were noticeably 'whiter' than the inmates. the inmates almost looked a little gold, actually, compared to my polished crosshairs. i'll try to get some better non-cameraphone pics later on.

I picked up a Pewter Crosshair off eBay for $40 bucks. There were some marks along the earpiece near the icon, and the paint had been chipping off in certain areas.
This was what I had been looking for since O put up Crosshair lenses online at the Vault.(i know they cost the same, but whatever). I've been wanting to polish up a Crosshair for the longest time.
So I took the frame into my garage, took the earpieces off and tried various different solvents in an effort to remove the paint. Acetone, silver cleaner, wd-40, goo-gone...a couple more I don't remember at the moment...none of which worked.
So I took out my Dremel and threw a wire wheel into the chuck and just went to town on the section of earpiece behind the sock. The paint just flew off and left a nice shiny surface behind. I switched from the carbon steel to a stainless wire wheel after the first round and that gave it a slightly nicer sheen. So I took to the rest of the frame. Up around the nose piece, near the hinges...until the whole frame was clean. I ended up pulling bits of wire out of my hair for a couple hours, but it was well worth it.
So I ordered up some Ice lenses from the Vault, and a black and white set of earsocks...what do you think?

edit: The more I look at the frames under fluorescent light, I can see spots I missed when polishing...I'll need to touch them up tonight when I get home. hehe

I wonder if he'd use an alias to bid against potential buyers to raise the price...seems like the type of dude who'd do that, no?
