Is there any new products associated with the Olympics? I was reading recently that Oakley has rented one of the hotels for all of their athletes as well as several articles on how the sunglasses will impact the sports...

"Seaworthy sunglasses

Shades can do more for sailors than just cool looks.

Polarized glasses by companies such as Kaenon and Oakley amplify contrasts. This helps sailors "see" the wind on the water, crucial to effective maneuvers."

Does anyone know of any special t-shirt, glasses or clothing issues?

I spoke with my Oakley connection and they said that the were having a problem with the adhesive...but had worked it out this week. The Troy Lee's are suppose to be available next week.

Just picked up a pair of FMJ/Fire Over The Top...the lens and frame are in great shape for the most part!

However the frame underneath (where the frames sit on a shelf) and the inside of the back have some wear and tear. Is it possible to touch up the FMJ paint?

I have to agree...I wanted something that people in the "know" would recognize.

The squid tat has a double meaning for me...

In the late 90's I was wearing my O shades (eye jackets if I remeber right) and conducting squid research in Woods Hole. The research focused on the squids ability to view light in the polarized range. At the time everyone thought that the squid's ability to see in this range helped them navigate, much like bees use polarized light and the sun's position. However, it turns out that when squid are present fish school and the scales of the fish school polarize the light in the water making it much more difficult to pick out individual targets...unless you can see polarized light. So for squid polarized vision is mostly about selecting and catching prey.

SO...I have tried every possible option here in Vermont and New Hampshire...and have heard every excuse and the answer is always the same...

"We cannot get the Dave Flores Gascan"

So I am hoping that perhaps someone here might be able to help someone isolated in Vermont.

Please PM me with options

Sorry everyone if this is not in the appropriate section
