I just bought the mag. and scanned it in for all of you who haven't seen it. 5 pages plus a new Radar print ad with Lance. I am not a Radar fan but these Positive Red Polarized ones are SWEET! May have to get them, first time I have seen Polarized Positive Red.

How are Thumps and Frogskins a miss?

Great Article, but im a little fuzzed about the Misses Section. The only one i could understand would be the OverTheTop, but even though it may have been a miss, its a very Iconic Oakley design. A lot of people still remember them. They were the crazyiest thing ever seen at that time IMO. My dad almost bought a pair, not even to wear them, just on the basis that they were extremely cool.

Yeah, how someone could call Frogskins a "Miss" is beyond me. Couldn't they be the most iconic of all sunglasses - EVER? I didn't think non-members of the OR were allowed to have opinions on Oakley. Where's my lawyer at?

I think they call the Frogskins and Thump a "miss" because they are not the best glasses for cycling, that is all. You have to remember that this is a cycling mag. and that is what they are basing their reviews on, how do the glasses perform for cyclists. They are not judging the glasses by themselves. :)

Had the magazine for a couple of weeks, but forgot about this thread. Thought the article was a bit pants tbh. Not much in it at all..Though good at highlighting Oakley to those who perhaps know nothing about the company

I think the Hits/Misses section is just there to purposely attempt to make more content. I don't really consider any of their models a miss. They all have advantages and disadvantages for their intended applications, whether it be cycling, skiing, golfing, baseball, or just looking cool.

Besides, I have no idea how they missed the EyeJacket 3.0.
