Got into Oakley after i bought my first pair of Square Wire 2.0s in Aruba. Found VUTT Sunglasses in the local mall and died and went to heaven. My wallet cried for 2 years before I got hired in the store. Now I spend my non full time job hours around Oakley stuff. Ahh what a life.

The first Unobtainium case for the iPhone 3G was amazing. That thing was indestructible. Ever since then the overall quality of the cases has gone down. My Unobtainium case for my iPhone 4 was okay. It was a bit too hard and made me nervous if the phone fell, which happened quite a bit.

Oh my mistake. I shall dig up the acid ones. I got them here somewhere :-P

Yeah the Acid Green is much more green. I really like the sulfur color. Much more than I had thought I would. Lenses are Black Iridium.

VUTT Sunglasses is having an Oakley sponsored event. I generally don't like whoring out my store, but I would love to meet some of you folks in the NJ area and support a local small business. Sales, free food, and chances for free Oakley swag. Sounds like a winning combo to me :)

400 . . ouch. Less than I would have originally thought. So glad I got mine already. I'm gonna reserve thoughts on the Dispatch II until I see it in person. And I agree, the Jupiter Squared better be wider or it will be another bland release.

Sadly no removable icons on the EP2. Very comfortable and I think it'll fit more people than the EP. Sick colors coming too. They have a purple fade to clear with Black Iridium Polar on the way.

And yeah I kinda love the Holbrook. Gonna try to get the SGH exclusive one today.

I kinda went hogwild in the last few weeks. So many colors . . .

Also managed an Eyepatch 2. Sick glass, gonna post comparison shots with the original version sometime tomorrow.

I replaced a Half X lens this past week for a customer to a Ruby set and there was a notice in the lens box about Ruby not being good for driving. So it seems to be sadly true. :(

Managed to snag a pair of Split Jackets. Awesome fit. So much better than the Jawbone if you have a medium to large sized face. Still really wide on people whom have a small head.

I don't consider Oakley's single lens options "fashionista" at all. They are all aggressively designed and most of all functional. No fashion brand has the sharp edges or cuts that the Oakleys do. Granted they are aimed a little more to that realm than say a Monster Dog or the like, but they are still a pure sport driven design.

Agreed on the dip. It makes the styling better. It would look to bland if it was a straight cut across the top.

I personally like it a lot. A bit smaller than the inmate but the same feel.

From customers they seem to not like some of the colors. Seems given the size of the lens mixed with a few of the color combos a few people said it was "too much".

I don't think they will release Acetate to the point that it eclipses O Matter. Acetate just isn't light enough or flexible enough for sport use. I'll assume it is more expensive than O Matter as well.

It isn't a good or bad thing, it is just what purpose you want to use it for. Fashion and RX are it's main uses in my book.

My Kitchen Sink fits the 17" notebook I use. It is a bit tight getting in but it fits in the sleeve perfectly. Sucks that the Alpha Charlie bag is so small, i really really like the design.

What is the price and SKU for those extremely pretty anti-freeze frogskins?

I agree and disagree. It doesn't fit most faces unlike the Juliet did. I had a number of people come into my store wanting to buy it and out of the 6 that came in it only fit one guy. All of which wear Juliets on a regular basis. The only way it really fits me well is if I take the nosebombs off. Most people aren't willing for that.

On the design side I really like it. It is aggressive and it's clean at the same time. The lack of rivets on the front gives it a refined look while the way the lenses jut out at the temples makes it kinda mean looking. I guess time will tell how they do.

I agree with most of you. LuxOttica can not be blamed for anything until things really do go bad. The Co-Pilot event was a great thing for collectors, and overall Oakley still feels like Oakley.
For me the only thing that is a bit annoying about this whole merger so far is how quickly Lux is churning out styles and colorways. It just seems like styles are coming out much more frequently than before.

First update in a long long time. Got a lot to add. Newest purchases were 2 Fuel Cells. Polished and Matte Clear w/ Violet Iridium and Polished and Matte Black w/ Warm Grey.

I really like the Fuel Cell, really comfortable great coverage. Great successor to the GasCan. Dispatch and SquareX was there too. Dispatch is okay, love the whole interchangable icon system. SquareX is okay, only way it fit me is if the nosebombs were off. But if you want a new O-Matter glass as a general wear glass try out the Fuel Cell, it is very well done.
