and Lux sent Columbus to North America. That was the master plan. Clever...really clever.

Perhaps the Mayans predicted the end of Oakley once the merger went through which is kinda similar to the end of the world in a way

I thought that Oakley being owned by the largest eyewear company in the world would mean that there would be at least one place in the largest city of a country of 43 million where I could buy Oakleys. I was wrong. I blame Luxottica for that!

Even Paris doesn't have his Oakley Store. A rep' told me that this was not plan before late 2010-2011.

Perth doesn't have its own O-Store either...I'd like to blame Lux for that too by the way...or maybe its just because it the most isolated city in the world.

I don't mean an O store: I mean a shop which sells Oakley products. At the moment there is not even a single shop in this city (population 2.75 million) which sells Oakley products.

Ah ok, now I understand your frustration.
Actually, there also the same problem in Paris. No any retailer for shoes or apparel.

I blame Lux for influencing Oakley to finally get it right!!! I have in my hands, the Fuel Cell Crystal/Matte Clear & Violet. Let me just say......IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!!!! These things fit so well it's not funny. They are not too snug, not loose, and the stems curve perfectly around my melon that I have no fear of slippage. Sweat, dry, it won't affect them at all. Whoever is responsible, mad PROPS!

...and monsterdogs across the world shed a little tear.

Looking real good, there. Top fuel cell colorway I've seen so far, congrats on a great buy.

oh yeah....and the X Sqaured...Nice too. A little snug still, but a nice fit and super coverage. X Metals around the world also shed a tear, of fear that is. I wouldn't go so far as saying Mag Switch in feel or shape, actually more coverage, but not quite the same in feel...

Fits very nice on you. Congrats on finding a GC-esque frame you like.

I like the GC too, but the complaint I always had was the fact they would tend to slip when you sweat...They just pinched around the skull and didn't wrap quite right. The Fuel Cell on the other hand, wrap perfect and just fit and feel natural. I say anyone who thought GC was too tight needs to give these a try, you should be impressed.
