I had intended it to display the flat items (like stickers, key chains, wallets, etc) since you can see from the top.

Getting one later this year Oak so I can finally get my gun safe in and not damage the house going down the stairs and such.

I'm amazed the things I got in and out of my old house's basement by myself. The doublewide was the most fun. Not sure how I did that. My new house, they built the basement on ground level, then graded the yard up to the top where the first level would be. Allows me to avoid stairs on both.

You can always take the tripple wide apart to move into the basement, it would suck to so it to 5 of them, but it can be done.

Congrats on the new house

You know I am just up the road and would be HAPPY to take it off your hands. I am free all week - just let me know when you want to bring it by. It’s the least I can do for a fellow O-Review brother.

Eyewear. I think my Oakley buying has slowed to a crawl over the last few years as I’ve become more discerning and discriminating, but the focus in 2019 will be eyewear if I do buy stuff. I’ve strayed away by buying all sorts of miscellaneous stuff, but it’s time to get back to what Oakley’s the best at and respected for. I might even wear Oakley Rx again this year after swearing off it a while ago.

Hopefully I get around to listing a few pairs for sale this year, so I can fund the last few ones I need to complete the first 30 years of Oakley.

I'm with Oak, I'd really like to concentrate on getting some more eyewear. I really have bought next to nothing in the last year or two except for the Samuel Ross WJ2.0. It's not because of lack of interest on my part - I think it was more the cost. The funds weren't quite there last year and I will admit I had a decent discount through MLB when I worked in baseball. Paying full price puts things a bit more into perspective I suppose. Lately I've just been buying AFA, mainly apparel because the discounts on o.com are really very good at times. So were a few of their eyewear deals in the recent months but the timing didn't work out and I had to pass on them.

Long story a bit shorter...

I definitely want to get a few more pairs this year - ones from my list of passed releases (trying to catch up) and I have my eye on some of the recent and news releases as well.

Oh and some new MTB gear.

Bringing this thread back up because I’ve always found it an interesting read. Also wanted to take stock of where I want my collection to go. I know my focus these days is eyewear or anything with lenses that is unique and not easily replicated (or anything that's not easy to copy, really), but that concept’s becoming more and more difficult to find. A new factory colourway of a pre-existing frame doesn’t do it for me anymore (even if it is a super rare custom one-off); I can only own so many examples of one specific frame model before I get bored. The upcoming Kato X is a something I would have a look at, and I’m sure there’ll be something for the Olympics. Other than that, I’m having a hard time feeling anything past or present. If anyone has any ideas of what I should be chasing, please do tell.

I’ve been obsessed with chasing lenses that have never been done as OEM. Such as an VR50 Emerald M Frame lens.

Or a Sapphire Iridium Zero 0.4

Or Pink Iridium X Squared.

Any obscure donor lens gets me going!

Been thinking about a 40 % Trans Positive Red Carbon Blade.

Hello O-review members.
I started my collection in 2005, and I never imagined that after 15 years I would have so many OAKLEY itens in my collection.
When I bought my first Juliet X -Metal Serial J, I STARTED TO BE INTERESTED IN OAKLEY'S STORY, and started researching more about the brand, and I became a fan of it.
I only regret not having met the O-review before, as I only became a member in 2014.
But, back to the subject where I want my collection to go, I am a collector with a passion for X-Metals (mainly Juliets) and time bombs, I have more than 100 pairs of x metal and almost all Time bombs.
And I would never have imagined that after the 1st Juliet, my collection would become as big as this one today.
Even with the difficulties that I have to acquire certain items in my country, since certain models did not come to Brazil, I happily count on the help of a friend who lives in the United States, to help me acquire some models.
I intend to allocate an exclusive space for my oakley shelves and fix my collection, then I will put photos for the members of the O-review, it will take a while, but one of these I finish.
I'm glad I managed to get a collection of this level nowadays, as it is very difficult for those who live outside the Usa to have access to some exclusive items, and when they do, they are expensive.
So I was very happy to have an incredible welcome and to be part of the O-Review community.
And I wish all collectors and O-Review members to always be able to add more items they dream of to their collections.
I do not intend to stop so much from collecting Oakley, as long as I can afford it, I will definitely add more items to my collection.
Where will my collection go? I don't even know how to answer that question, but I do know that I always want to keep collecting while I'm breathing, if God gives me enough time here.
But the most important thing is not to have a large quantity, but to collect what you like.
Congratulations to all collectors and O-review members for their collections.

Have you seen the 2020 Tokyo Celebration Collection?

Here are the first two of what I think is a four piece collection....

Yep, saw those. The other two are the AF Frogskin and Mercenary. Great frame colour but not interested in any of the actual frame models. Hopefully Oakley’ll keep that colour around.

2021 checkpoint. I'm becoming more like banarno. All vintage all the time, but more of the '90s to mid-aughts time period. Complete and MIB examples are what I'm chasing these days.

Stalled a bit, but I should try to secure some of those 90s wires so I can finish my long awaited 1975-2005 collection.
