Collection is 99% moved out to storage. Just needing to move the big cases once it’s time to move:

I definitely hated it. You don’t realize how much stuff you have until you have to move it out. The good part of all this is I have less of an appetite to buy more stuff in the event I have to move again one day.

Oak, I could use a cube or two. Just saying'! HA!

That's crazy, impressive and looks exhausting too.

Moving is the worst. I'm hoping I only have about one more at most in my lifetime.

I’ll be moving my stuff to my folks house until my home is built. Then I get to move it again later this year:(

Congrats on the new house JP. Good luck on moving twice. It'll be worth it in the end.

Then you will perhaps have an entire Oakley floor?

Haha, not sure if "off to storage" was the desired response for most of us when considering the 'Where do you want your collection to go?' question.

It is amazing to see the displays lined up wall to wall, floor to ceiling!

That's the Lee Silver approach. Everything in boxes so nothing gets UV damaged

I wish! My collecting has died down over the last year especially with the talk of moving:)

If someone offered me a mid range Patek Philippe or one of the more limited AP watches or a restored 1969 Mach 1 Mustang w/428 CJ for my entire collection, I’d probably be happy to make that trade.

Well, tough question, but here it goes. It's not like I have many Oakley frames to begin with. My two boys have already claimed some frames such as the Mars and Romeos, and I am happy that they are interested in them. Then most of all the remaining frames I wear occaionally, so they are not going anywhere. There are four frames that I do not wear, so they are not going anywhere, and there are currently 4 remaining frames that are on my wish list. So it looks like my collection is going to stay where it is, with the exception of a few more additions.
I attached a photo of my son wearing Mars Leather Ruby during his graduation June 2017. He loves these Mars and was proud to wear them.

I finally moved into the new house. I intended for the basement to display 5 triplewides, a 3.0 goggle bar and various doublewides in one single room. It would have been glorious, but alas it was not meant to be; the angle of the stairway, width of the door and turn off the landing worked against me. The only way is to cut into the wall and extend the doorway. Maybe one day I’ll go through that headache, but the triplewides and goggle bar unfortunately have to stay in the garage for now.
