So it seems like Half Jackets and Monster Dogs are certainly the top two thus far. Keep in mind that from the "o-review most owned pair" thread, the top owned Oakley was Juliet, Monsterdogs ... Half Jacket, Gascan, Straight Jacket and XX(Twenty) were after those top two.

Personally, I think we should pick 3 styles and decide on a colorway for each style to give FP his 3 options to bring to the table. I think MD, HJ and GC should be our top 3 options ... just because SJ and XX are a bit dated.

Colorwise, I would prefer something a bit "flashy" ... just to really put an exclamation point on this O-Review custom. If we pick a subtle colorway, it's just going to blend in with the rest.

My top frame options would be Carbon Fiber or White.
My top lens options would be Ti Iridium or VR28 Black.

Wow ! Thats very cool of FP, at least we will know where we stand regarding this and how much and how doable it is.

O-Matter frames should be our options versus x-metal frames, just for price wise. Same with polarized lens.

We need a poll to choose 1 model for sure yeah.

Do we have it etched o-review ? That would please everyone I think.

Cost wise, a totally new frame color and new lens color would also be more expensive, but then again without at least one of that, we could just custom one, and that would be pointless.

I vote for MD by the way, wich we know ice, ruby clear, fire and ruby have been made, but not readilly available to the public.

I think we need to decide fast and keep these options in mind: frame cost, lens cost, and colorway. Nothing too expensive frame wise, nothing polarized or for lowlight/no light conditions and nothing too flashy. Even try and stay with stock parts. We don't really have an offical color asigned to the review (maybe Dann does?) to use for a frame or lens, but I say we pick something that epitomizes the O. As has been stated, of course not everyone will agree on what everyone else wants but we need to find common ground.

Now, my thoughs...

Frame choices:
• Monster Dog - it is pretty versatile for large and small faces. Hell, my head isn't big at all.
• Gascan - Simply for it's current popularity and styling.
• Fatcat - Because it really is a nice, underused frame.
• Crosshair - well, it's a nice wire that's not quite a wire.

Colorways:
• Polished Black/Ti/Silver or metallic white icon
• Polished White/Ti Ir or Ruby Clear/white or red icon.
• A print similar to that used on the O Script Gascan Mando posted.
• Possibly a camo. Orange or Neon Green would be interesting, perhaps too flashy though.

Perhaps after most options are out we'll get a poll set up to vote from 3-5 frames.

Phil, I like your thoughts a lot. Out of that, my personal preferred combo would be Gascan Polished White/Ruby Clear, but I like all of the frames you've listed. Red icon too. Mmmm... delicious!

I'm just trying to base it on stock parts or items we have seen produced. I think white or black helps define O with a sleek presentation and a lens like Ti or Ruby Clear works with both and are two top lenses.

As for the MD, theres already way too much black frames, and 2 white ones as well.

I love the idea of orange camo thats for sure.

I think going 100% (frame and lens) with the Oakley stocks would be a mistake; I can make a polished black/Ti if I want to anyway...

What about an official way to submit a style colorway to someone here, dann if he is ok with it or anyone with the ability. Then once a given time period had elapsed we can have a vote based on the top styles & colorways submitted. Kind of a vote for the ballot and then the actual vote for the top 3. I really like the MD with the flames and red (ruby?) lens. If we could possilby get something that we know has been made but is not public production that would really be awesome.

gotta be an MD my second choice would be gascan i guess.
Phil is right, surely O-matter is the only option for cost reasons alone?

neon green camo or orange camo MD with a Amber black sig lens would be awesome.

we have to have a unique frame (if we are allowed one) cos if we get a stock frame then it will just be like millions of other MDs out there with just a special sig lens to make it unique.

I wonder, if we asked real nice, if they'd let us do the Scripy print GC like Mando's. Anyway, my top 3 would be MD, Five 3.0, & GC with HJ a close 4th.

I like Monster Dog, Gascan, and Crosshair. As for colors, I'd say keep it simple. I'd like to see Polished Black w/chromed Icon and either Black or Titanium Iridium.

For cost etc I nominate GC, Monster Dog Or Fives 3.0

I'd like to see a nice lens like emerald or ruby clear

I would most like a GASCAN as the signature O review pair. Monster Dogs would be okay too.

I just can't see any other styles being used for this. Five 3.0? Too small. Half Jackets??? No way guys, they are pretty ugly and definitley NOT stylish. Only golfers wear Half Jackets.

Colourway - I'd like Matte Black/Ruby Clear Gascans w/ red icons or Matte Black/Ruby Clear Monster Dogs w/ red icons.
EDIT: oooh or Tribal gascans with slate iridium

K, Gc or MD, but what is "Mando"?, no idea.

Think Ti Clear should be left out, something colorfull should be used

FP , what is YOUR opinion on which frame/lens we can ask for that has most chance of come true ?

sorry justin i have to disagree about them not being oakley...
they do take getting used to , but are sooo cool once you warm up to them.

as much as i want them to be Crosshairs, i doubt it. i'll agree that it'll probably be something easy to manufacture, most likely an O-Matter frame.
