Looks like a chunkier five to me

These actually don't look half bad at first glance, especially the bottom two. I wouldn't mind checking these out first hand. Just not really sure about the whole "link" series name. I know it refers to chain links. But to me, a link is a turd. Also a blonde, sword wielding Hylian.

Plus I think "straight" only really worked when it alluded to a "jacket" worn snugly by a "lunatic" :D

I agree with ya Steve! The colorways on the new lines are kinda blah... Yet again:)

I want to like them from the picture, but I need to see them in person first.

Like the look, just not sure on the fit etc

I prefer to hold passing judgement until I can actually try them on... but these look chunky, and I think the Square O would have prevented that appearance.

I'm liking it so far. I do wish the color-ways were a bit more bold.

I may be the only one that thinks this...but when I first saw them I thought it looked like a Pit Boss without the plates from the front.

I would think based on the name this is meant to be a Straight Jacket replacement so may be around the same size.

I do like the front of the frame and the idea of it being split - half translucent and half opaque. The ear stems though aren't doing much for me the more I look at them.

The ones where the unobtanium and OMatter match are really good looking. I'm not super crazy about them when the unobtanium matches the lens instead. I tried them on today and they really are basically a new straight jacket. I'm predicting they will be the best seller of the link family.

I like how they look. Kinda reminds me of a Fives 4.0 on steroids.

I was decidedly "meh" on them based on advanced pics, but they are very cool after trying them on. I doubt I will be buying them , but they will be a very popular and worn pair with everyone else.

Agreed Paul. I still really like the Jade pair. I think the translucent frame and unobtainium work well on that color-way.

'Meh' releases are needed once in a while too. Just good everyday pairs. I never liked the New Straight Jacket II, so perhaps these will be more to my liking.

I think I am a meh kind of person based on my taste in eyewear. Must really be getting old I guess.
