I enjoy going into the lego store whenever going to the mall (reminiscing about stuff I had when I was a kid), but I have yet to buy a modern lego set. That will change if the below beauty ever gets made. It was custom made but submitted to lego ideas to possibly become a retail set in the future. It got the needed support in a matter of weeks, I'm crossing my fingers it gets made in the future.

I saw the new Millennium Falcon at a Lego store today. It definitely needs room to breathe for any fan who buys it; a sizeable piece that looks amazing. If any of you are buying it and intend to put it together, I would love to see where/how you display it.

Crazy they had one - missed the one they had a few years ago and saw this one but the price is a killer. On ther website it was all sold-out.

This I believe is the biggest set (in terms of the number of pieces) Lego ever made.

Yep, o would be out in the garage for a LONG time if I went that route. I have my letter to Santa all drafted up - I hope he takes me seriously this year!!

I so wanted to get the set, but at $1300AU it is just to much.
Ive really been getting into the Lego Ideas sets, have them all now accept #1 & 2 ( formally Cursco ) each of those sets sell upwards of $1000 as they are extremely limited.

Crazy thing is i now have more lego in my 3.0 than Oakley.

Rumour is the Helicarrier will supposedly be retired this year or next. If this is the case, hopefully they'll do what they did with the Millennium Falcon and put out a super large edition of it. I'd be up for a 1,200 piece set for for $1,200.
