Wow! I'm debating about the Simpsons house. Do these sets typically go on sale after it sits for a while in store shelves? I got the entire Simpsons mini figure set and I think the sculpt is pretty accurate and detailed for a Lego.

As an avid buyer now for my Boys, yes the sets will eventually drop in price. The Lego Movie just lowered not too long ago. New lines come out and they have to make room.

BTW, we do have a family year pass to Legoland Discovery Center. ;)

I guess it is a waiting game then! No rush. Just hope it will not sell out.

Ages 16+? What in the world is inside that box? Does it come with a license to drive it on the street? Oh, wait... it's a Canada thing isn't it?

The Tie Fighter looks amazing. They had it on display for the storefront window, and I was very impressed.

Congrats on the Helicarrier and the Sandcrawler. I was debating that one as well and will probably get one at one point (assuming they don't retire it any time soon) when I get the Tumbler completed. The Helicarrier is spectacular.

Never disassembled my lego eiffel tower. At over 3 feet tall, it takes up more room than I'd like it to...

This brings up a good point, how do you guys display your finished Legos? Do you get an acrylic case, or do you display them in open air? Dusting this stuff must be a pain.

Open air. But then again, I don't dust it often (I only have that on display).

Saw the Lego Porsche 911 GT3 RS in person the other day. What a fantastic piece. The only Lego sets I ever wanted was the Batmobile Tumbler and Shield Helicarrier, but I'll give serious thought to this one:

Yep, saw it in the new catalog - trying to convince the wife it would make the best Father's Day gift.
