Hey ive been using this website as an informational guide since its opening. I started collecting about 2 years ago. Always looking for a bargain. Picked up a pair of XX TiO2s for $35. And the rest, as they say, is history...

I don't know if this is supposed to be a bio or a hello to the o-review world. If so, hello everyone! I'm pleased to join you.

Open air. But then again, I don't dust it often (I only have that on display).

Never disassembled my lego eiffel tower. At over 3 feet tall, it takes up more room than I'd like it to...

I'll let you know what I have when you reply, so I don't end up getting rid of them outright.

Here I am again, at the mercy of this wonderful community of Oakley enthusiasts. I have had to postpone my search for the Suedes for a while due to school, but now that it is summer, I'm back in the game!

Cutting to the chase, I physically need those shades. Things stopping be from achieving this are
1 lack of parental approval of my collection
2 Lack of funds
3 No one ever sells them!

So please, if you have what I want, lmk

My problem is that I keep buying broken/trashed/worn out Oakleys... They are too cheap to resist! One good pair of straight jackets... vs three broken M frames?

Haha I guess, but if that were actually true, the iridium layer wouldnt chip so darn easily

They are A wires, not E

I don't know if this is a sin in the oakley world, but I just picked up an incredibly worn out pair of e wires with emerald iridium lenses. i'd like to not have to buy new lenses for them, so is there a way to cleanly take off the iridium coating on a lens, leaving the usually hidden grey lens exposed? It would be great if this pair could get more use

The rx overlord frames have a more subtle x-metal-esque look to them. They definitely have Mars roots.
(they are on the vault website as of now)

To all benchmade automatic owners; a question. I just picked up a benchmade Infidel. Its a beautiful knife, but is misfiring a lot. I read online that to get it tuned up you need to sign off on something. So whats the deal with sending it in for replacement parts? Do you actually have to prove that you are in the military/federal govt/ coast guard? Or is that thing you have to sign just to get rid of benchmade's liabilities?

I hadn't heard what the percentage was on the Special Cause items; I had heard that they aren't discounted when other items are (during sale events) because they have proceeds tied to them going to those particular causes. (YSC, IH, TACA)

That was funny Oogie - H01B3RG

Yeah the cancer awareness ones donate $20 for each pair sold. on a $180, (knowing in honesty that you cant have more than a couple bucks of materials in your run-of-the-mill fuel cells) you would think that Oakley would put a little more than 1/9 of retail value into their donations. Like with all the money Oakley makes, a 50% or 100% donation on a few select pairs wouldn't be too big of a hit, would help the treatment facilities greatly, and would definitely boost anyone's opinion on Oakley as a company.

Earlier this week, I was on vacation in florida and checked out the o store in Orlando International Airport. While I was there, I saw some intriguing pieces on display. Amongst other things, the CF carabiner, and some assorted SI sunglasses were for sale. Just a heads up. I can't guarantee that they are still there, but I didn't buy anything, so first one there wins I guess :). I hope this helped out some people looking for a carabiner.

Now I understand that IH is given a part of the proceeds when an IH purchase is made, but does anyone know how much? I was really put off when I found out that the Breast Cancer Awareness sunglasses were only donating about 11% of their proceeds towards research.

I have a quick question with the "new" holbrooks with the carbon fiber frames, and bip lenses. Is the carbon fiber real like a Jupiter Carbon or Carbon Blade? or is it just a print like on the Radars? I say new, but they are on the vault so maybe not so much...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Mmm, then I can refurbish my old classics. - Dann

At oakley vault stores, where they have the custom wall, you can purchase just lenses.
