What are your goals for 2011? Oakley-wise, of course.

What goals did you meet/miss in 2010?
What unexpected pickups did you get in 2010?

As for me, I finally got one of each x-metal.

I missed on two major projects I've been working on, but I'm working on changing that.

Happy New YEar!

2010 was a record low buying year. But the tron gascan was a nice addition. Still hoping for my final slash to show up. Time will tell.

I'm hoping to pick up a Rootbeer Pit Boss to finish up my trio and find a tower locally for under $100.00. :)
One can dream, right?

This year, I added a bunch of frames to my x-metal collection. A Titanium/Gold Juliet, first gen Plasma/Fire...
Maybe I'll find me a Polished/G30 and Polished/TiClear before this year's over!

well for me a big selling spree to make cash and space for my big spending, completing sets of zeros and sub zeros, finally getting a pair of 0.3P's was a big one, but unexpectadlly, last couple of weeks picked up 2 mint in box mumbos (neon yellow & white).

what am i after in 2011, well not alot as im getting married so really have to focus all the cash into that, but if they present themselves at a reasonable price a white eyeshade/orange iridium factory pilot lense and a white razor blade (triggers) with organge iridium lense would be good too, but otherwise, im happy for the time being!

heres happy hunting for all to get their grails :)

I wanted to buy a second tower in 2010 and managed to buy not only a second tower buy a double wide as well so im pretty happy with that goal!

On the unexpected side, starting 2010 I didn't own any pairs from the artists series and didn't plan on buying any. I now have all but the two flores gascans and the donwood jupiter. My goal for 2011 is to finish the artists series and to finally get a timetank.

For me, it pretty simple:
Still on the Frogskin wave.....
Get the Tortoise Frogskin Smogs' and probably all the Acid Frogs for this year(if not all then definitely the Red,Yellow,Orange and Blue).
Maybe a Mars....
As for whatever else that 'Oakley' produces, I guess we'll just have to wait and see..........
Enjoy 2011!

Well, I've sorted the Smogs' and a pair of Frogskins in Matte Red....so onto the Acieeeeeeeeeeeddd!

My wildest Oakley dreams came true in 2010.
Yes, even the holiest of grails came in b4 the year closed.
2011 ... trim down on "random pairs" and my waistline.

2010 was a great year. I didn't buy a whole lot since there's not a lot I wanted, but I got a good deal of good gifts (C-Sixes, Tron PB, gladiator helmet, display items) and made some key acquisitions (prototype OTT, first production OTT, STPL Eyeshade, shotgun case, etc.).

As for 2010 resolutions, it's a tossup whether I succeeded or not:

1) Continue to be selective with what I buy - Succeeded. I liked everything I bought for myself. Nothing was really fodder this year.
2) Less collecting and more wearing - Hard to say. I've stopped wearing Oakley eyewear altogether, but I have been using other Oakley products a lot more (shirts/hoodies, shorts, wallets, boots, belts, luggage, backpacks, socks, hats)
3) Find enough motivation to get the Elite Assault Boot - Thanks to Alex and the Olympic O Store (as well as special assist from the Alberta Tech Rep), I do own a pair.
4) Visit at least one American O Store I've never been to - Failed miserably. Didn't even make an attempt.
5) Get to the Berlin O Store - I was close, but I was too busy in Berlin to make it to the shop.
6) Set up the towers and cases properly - Mostly completed. Still have a double wide and a table top to figure out where to put.

As for 2011, I don't really desire anything and have no wishes right now, so I don't have any Oakley goals.

My one and only Oakley goal this year is to get a job with Oakley. It's one of the main reasons I moved back to California. If I get a job, then I can afford everything else.

Hmm..I've had a good year for Holy Grails in 2010. For 2011 I'd like to get a black/ruby OTT, BMX Chrome Radar and that's about it.
Other than those I'll just keep my eyes open for any new Frogskins that i like the look of and will get whatever Radar Oakley introduce for this years TdF.
There are also a handful of Radar lenses i want but i'm in no rush to get them

I acquired some cool things this year...The BMX Jawbone and a few display pieces. Thanks to everyone that helped, you know who you are and its very much appreciated.

My grails seem to never change...still need to get that TT/Minute Machine! Been wanting it since day one but something always seems to get in the way. This year will be the year.

For me... OTT in black/ruby... also maybe a second timebomb 2, titanium 12 gauge or stealth 12 gauge... minute machine... that red pit boss... maybe the tron pit boss...
and hopefully new elite products! I would like to see an elite X-Metal! Hopefully a razor sharp design of a new romeo 3.0 or romeo similar to the first romeo, just more meaner.

Elite X-Metal? That would end up being more expensive than the Aluminum C6...

Ian, if it's worth the price you can count me in on it! to me the elite CSIX was not a piece that I thought worlds of. It was just a blah design... I was more excited about the materials than the design. The fit too was on the medium to small size, but my big head didn't work with them. for $4000 or even $1500 they better be an out of this world design and to me the CSIX didn't get it done!

I knew you would see it my way Terror! To some folks they were everything and then some, but again I was more impressed with material than design! Could I afford them, yes... but I just didn't think they were worth it! The Pit Boss is a bad boy because although it took elements from other designs before it, the Pit Boss still stood out on its own and is a real head turner. The CSIX just said "yeah I got cash!", but when spending that kinda doe I want my glasses to say "yeah bi&tch, I have arrived and you better take notice!". The CSIX didn't say that at all. No it doesn't have to be an over the top like scare, but I wanna look like I belong in "The League of Extrodinary Bad A$$es!". So the next time Oakley wants to place a $4000 price tag on an item... #1. should be custom fitted, #2. should be designed to draw attention, but remain tamed, #3. give me the gut feeling of I just can't live without these. Sorry guys and maybe I'm gonna cause an uproar, but the CSIX failed at all 3 and then some!

i think oakley will show what's possible w/carbon fiber like a showcar or prototype and the result is the C-SIX ...

Who? Me? I'm a nobody in Oakley World. Ask Zeus (a.k.a. Dann Thombs).............
Just creative speculation on my part.
Otherwise, all I spill is milk.

Looking forward to Pit Bull and Eye Patch 2 in the spring, and another X Squared. I think the X Squared was def my top frame of the last year. I started the year with one and ended the year with another. Even now, it's constantly at the top of my rotation. Just so easy to wear.
