Matching Oakley's reinforced, industrial-style, aluminum display cases, the TimeBomb Vault demands attention. The rivets and exclusive "Inertial Generator" coin embedded in the unit increase its visual appeal and add to its exclusivity. In my opinion, this is the ultimate display piece for any Oakley watch.
I finally got one these with my second Icon watch and I couldn't be happier about it. This thing is so cool. My only problem with it, as others have pointed out, is it's top-heaviness. Nonetheless, only Oakley would come up with a case so remarkable that alone I've seen go for $100+ on eBay. I hope Dann doesn't mind if I bite his style and use it to propose my future wife just like he did. In the meantime, I think that I'll just use it to store whichever Icon I'm not wearing that day...and maybe my drugs...just kidding.
I love all my metal vaults, and this one is no exception, very bulky and heavy, everyone that sees it, wants to know what it is and whats inside, will protect your watch well.
All the other Oakley watched will fit in it, I use mine for my Blade watch.
Just wished they could have included a lock or a pin holding the bottom and the top.
awesome protection for the perfect watch. Very cool to have and looks good in the collection. The style is in the lines of the other Vaults and should be offered in other forms for the other watches in the Oakley range.
As cool as it appears, I get a little annoyed with this vault because you have to be careful when holding/opening it or the bottom will fall right out on you. You MUST grab it from the bottom 1/3. I've grabbed for it using the top 2/3 and it flopped open on me sending my watch crashing to the floor. It has happened a couple of times to me and I wasn't pleased. Plus, it is very difficult to keep the vault open while displaying the contents inside. I just think it was an ill-conceived design, but I do understand the attraction. I also don't go for the poofy padding, too Romanesque for my taste. Worth getting your hands on one, but not worth paying for.

I own 7 of these cases and love every one of them!!!
The best case for the best Oakley watches. They look awesome in my collection display, my friends drool!!!
When I bought my timebomb it didn't come with the box and I had to buy it seperate off ebay. Im sure glad I did. This is the coolest case I have ever seen a watch come in. It is solid steel and is great protection. I think Oakley would make money just selling this box as seperate storage product for miscellaneous things. Awesome display item.
This is awesome! Just got it with my Time Bomb. It definitely adds to your excitement as you open it up to see your new watch. Definitely an Oakley product. All their watches should come with this.
A vault for your watch... what a concept! Like the other boxy vaults, this one is built like a tank, big and heavy with double-thick corners and rivets. The velvet-covered watch holder gently cradles your time machine, and the foam top liner ensures that the lid will not scratch the crystal when the case is closed up.
Unlike the eyewear vaults, this case does not have spring-loaded hinges to keep the lid open or closed. Instead, there is a single free-rotating hinge. This allows the lid to open up much wider (see the pic above), which ensures that you can insert/remove your watch without scratching it on the relatively sharp edges of the lid.
The graphics on the top of the lid are a cool representation of the O-engine that shows through the window on the back of the Timebomb/Icon. Very distinctive.
Hopefully Oakley will make a vault like this again for another high-end watch in the future.
Got the vault before I got a timebomb. Sturdy and superb.
Has the inertial generator, o-engine stamped on top.
Sits nicely next to all the other x metal boxes
Pity not all Tb's came with it

Didn't get the vault with my timebomb...but have been deperately seeking one - they are just freakin awesome!

Yep, no real use for it. And yet it is still thrown on ebay as a "rare" item in and of itself. I'm not thrilled about the felty inside ... but the case itself is freakin' awesome.
The Time-Bomb is already a sweet watch at $1500 .. and to get the watch protected by a case like this makes you feel that much better about your purchase. Great display item!

This case only supports the Time Bomb watch when it's brand new. Once you're wearing it, there's really no use for it, other than to look really cool next to your collection, which it does quite well.
