Frame: Brown Camo
Lens: Gold Clear

These are DOPE! Oakley's take on the classic aviator is a winner for me. So far I'm not a big fan of the crosshair, but these are sick. The orbitals are big, like an aviator should be, and wrap around to provide great coverage and good looks. The trigger stems are a nice departure from the norm and the logo on the top of the nose bridge is a sweet detail.

The frame color is pretty unique and goes well with the gold clear. The gold clear lenses are an awesome looking shade for low light situations. Of course they provide no shade from bright light, but that's not the point with these. The iridium coating on this lens is very reflective, which does great at hiding the eyes despite being a clear lens.

Whenever I've worn these they get lots of attention, it's pretty cool. They look totally aviator, but with a modern twist that makes for a more functional and awesome looking pair of shades. I look forward to getting at least a few more colorways for bright situations, olive looks really cool.

Frame: Brown Camo
Lens: Gold Clear

Yet another release I've warmed to much after the initial release. Seems all the Stretchline models were winner, they just took a while to show it.

The Coverage on these is great. Most wires don't give you that much, but there won't be any worry of sunlight leaking in here. The frame works well as a trigger, with the Crosshair assuming the hammer design, there's surely a place for both to exist. The camo print is a nice touch, and it's nice to see some designs making their way to the wires instead of just O Matter. Gold Clear is a fairly useless lens, but since I've transitioned to collecting, this makes a wonderful addition.

My favorite lense bar none truely amazing pair of glasses for anytime

Frame: Chrome
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium

While not in love with aviators, I really like the way this pair wears. The lenses have a deeper, more teardrop shape to them than the Crosshairs, but I can wear these high enough on my nose that it only matters if I'm laughing and my cheeks are puckered up. The trigger stems, in combination with the stretch logo is classic Oakley. Then, the logo is also repeated on the top of the nose bridge. That is a nice detail that will commonly be overlooked. Overall, these are a nice take on the aviator.

The frames are sound, but a bit thinner than I'm used to seeing. Although I feel like I could easily bend them, they seem strong enough and they're holding up just fine.

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Grey

I love Warden's! I actually bought these for a friend, so didn't have much time with them, but the frame color is sweet. The way the stretch icons are 2 toned with gunmetal grey is a really classy touch. The grey lenses are a little boring for me, but they fit well with the all black theme. My friend loves them and I'm a little sad to see them go, but giving the gift of clear vision is satisfying in itself.

Frame: Polished black
Lens: Black Iridium polarized

Aaaah, the long search of the stretchline Warden finally end.
I bought them on Ebay after the Square O version was released. I really wanted the original release with the stretch logo.
And I'm fu**in' happy with it ! The stretch logo is repeated on the upper nose bridge, the frame looks really good and the trigger arms remind me the razor blade ear stems.
I could take off a skull because they don't fit large faces, but I prefer blame my head to don't fit the sunglasses o_O.

Frame: Polished
Lens: VR28 Black

Well I was finally able to get another pair of these after the tragic accident with my last pair. I like them a lot despite the fact that I really don't like the aviator style. I think that they are fun to wear though especially on a nice summer day. Haha.

Frame:Brown Camo
Lens:Gold clear

As cool as these look i just cant wear them, since getting the TI crosshairs i now find wardens very uncomfortable. and this combo just looks ridiculous on me, but a brown came wire frame come on, it looks awesome and is so outrageous its a must for any collection. these are gonna be gone real soon so be quick.

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized

These are just plain sick. I love them. Nothing like Oakley aviator style.
The wardens are awesome.
I just wish the Chrome frame had the black iridum polarized lens.

Frame: Brown Tortise (trigger)
Lens: Gold Clear

I love the wardens but these are ugly. the frame you can barely tell that its tortise and the gold clear is a pointless lens.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Pink Camo (Trigger)
Lens: Violet

The pink camo is an interesting color. I like it though just like the rest of the camo colors from Oakley. I think it works great with the violet lens as well. The Warden is pretty much your traditional avaiator sunglass but with an Oakley twist with the trigger earstems.
jumpman73 -
Frame: Brown Tortoise (Trigger)
Lens: Gold Clear Iridium

I had to give this one crossbones less than my other review. I'm not really feeling this frame colorway as much as the other colorways. The gold clear is an awesome lens but it looked goofy in the wardens because of the classic aviator shape. Eye coverage is still very good and the frame is very light weight.

great pair for the retro fear and loathing in LV hunter s thomason / flight deck aviator look good for brite light conditions which was suprizing because they done really look like they would be.
i personaly think these are more of a whimsy/novelty pair and not an everyday pair.

Frame: browncamo
Lens: clear gold iridium

man, those shades rock ! very old skool styled glasses with the trigger arm ( 2nd gen.) the stretch logo, and clear lenses with the gold iridium. if you are not wearing them , you hardly notice the iridium coating , but if you put them on, 2 things happen ; 1 they actually get rid of the "glare"from the sun while you wear em , 2 ; other people have trouble seeing your eyes. compared to the crosshair, the warden is much more round-shaped, and more "aviator-ish". if you want to look like you are from the early 70's , the Warden is the better choice.

Frame: Polished Gold (Trigger)
Lens: VR28 Gold Iridium

Awesome pair of shades. Very light and eye coverage is excellent. I would rather have Crosshairs but these are still very nice. The Oakley on the crossbridge is an excellent detail.

Frame: Brown Camo
Lens: Gold Clear Iridium
Picked these up off Yahoo! Japan auctions and it took me a few days, but I now love them. The Gold Clear lens is exactly what it sounds like; Gold and Clear. These are definitely more for looks than practicality. But, isn't practicality over-rated? They are unisex, but I think I may have lost these to my wife because she tried them on and loved them too. The frame color is listed as Brown Camo and not Brown Tortoise as it appears in the database. Definitey unique and make a statement.

Frame: gold and silver
Lens: VR28 and Gray

Yhese are every bit as cool as the Crosshair. Love the Stretchline design, the fit and the look....The gold look like something out of the 90's - very retro cool! The VR 28 lens isn't exactly great for direct sunlight but still awesome.

Frame: Polished gold(trigger)

I look better in this than in crosshair. They look alike at a glance but there are some differences in lens shape and size. Warden is a little bigger than Crosshair. I like aviator style eyewear so I own a pair of Rayban aviator(rb3025 pink). But I happened to like Warden more than Rayban. It is stylish as well as highly fuctional which is a character of O eyewear.

Once again, I go back and buy a model that I gave a poorer review to earlier. Guess it's slim pickins now. I got these at a discount, and I've been wearing them quite a lot now. It's nice to have a pair that I can wear all the time, and not stash into the collection to remain mint.

Oh yeah, I manage to scratch them within 24 hours. Horray me.

I defy anyone to try these on and not feel invincible. I got a great deal on these off eBay and I can't get over how coolt hey are. The trigger arms set it off and the stretch logo on the arm is a great old school style cue. I just can't get over how much bang for the buck you get in this pair of glasses. What has taken Ray Ban years to work towards, Oakley nailed in its first attempt - an aviator with attitude!

Frame: gold
Lens: vr28

I got sick of my xmetals so I sold them on ebay and bought a pair of wardens. These glasses are all steez. They look rad but the quality is questionable. My lens pop out often and coming from the xmetals they bend easily. Tip, don't wear them on your head, you'll stretch them.

Anyways I do love them but you have to know what you're buying; a slick pair of shades, not eye protection for playing bball with the boys.

Frame: polished gold

The are a great pair of sunglasses. I was going to get a pair of crosshair but went to the shop and saw these. I think these are far sexier than the crosshair and had to get them. My only slight prob with them is that I don't like teh trigger stem but overall I think they're great.

Frame: Olive
Lens: Grey

If you like aviators, the Wardens are the more traditionally designed compared to the Crosshairs. The available trigger earstems add an attractive touch and the variety of colors are cool. And, at least on me, they fit better than the Crosshairs. But I'm just not a fan of aviators.

Frame:Polished Gold
Lens:VR28 Gold Iridium

I had been wanting these for a while but never made the plunge, that all changed when i saw them with triggers, i just had to have them,
i now think wardens are crosshairs cooler brothers cos the strethline logo on top of the nose bridge and on both the ear stems just makes them look sooo good.
this colour combo is awesome no wonder crosshairs are stealing it.
pretty sure i will end up getting a pair of crosshairs one day though.

Once again I find myself retracting my first impression of another Stretchline piece. Time must heal all wounds. I'm not sure what it is that allows this frame to fit 100x better than the very first pair I tried when the hit last summer? I do love the triggers on the newer style, and that may add a little better fit for me. Perhaps I had to start with the Crosshiar and work my way into these. The new fit is magnificent with no problems so far. The Polished Gold with VR28 Gold combos is to date one of the most attractive colorways I have seen. Esp with the amber tint on the stretch logo over the gold.

Frame: Polished Gold

Not a fan of the Wardens - Crosshairs are much, much better. They don't look very impressive, they fit fairly poorly for Oakley's, and they don't seem built to last. Once again, when I first saw them in a foreign shop, I thought they were fakes. Not good.

Frame: any

I'm going against the grain here by saying that I really like these more than the Crosshair. If you have an average to small head, the lenses on the Crosshair look HUGE. The Warden fits me better than the Crosshair. As for quality, I've only tried them in stores, as I can't find the pair I want. I also imagine that the Gen2 Warden (with the Trigger Earstems) has refined design and quality over the original.

Frame: Polished Gold
Lens: VR28 Gold
These are cool, but I think I like Crosshair better. I'm not big on the stretch logo and these seem more like a "pilot" attempt at the aviator style, whereas the Crosshairs are a more "final execution" on the style. Don't like the triggers on them either. But, I guess they are aimed at the retro crowd along with the rest of the Stretch lineup.

Frame: Silver
Lens: Grey

Not the most stand-outish style in the world ... but it is something different from the O, so I respect that. I like the silver/grey combo the best, since it helps the frame stand out, though I wouldn't mide the the black iridium over the grey. Seems pretty cool, I think the Oakley script on top of the bridge is a pretty nice touch.

Frame: Gunmetal grey

Oakley has taken a unique spin on the Aviator theme. Not for everyone, but they are rock-star-cool. They are great looking and better than my previous Rayban "Modern Aviators".
Wear them if you want to be noticed.

Frame: Gold
Lens: VR28 Gold

I finally found a pair to try on. They are nice glasses, but seem very thin, like I could break them if I looked at them wrong. I'm sure there's a market, and plenty of people have been snagging these up, but they are far too traditional for my tastes.
