Frame/Lens: Black Chrome/Black-Violet Gradient.
These are an interesting combination which works on me but might not work for other males. Although they're supposed to be ladies' sunglasses, the slightly smaller Crosshair with more rounded contours suits some male faces and the black/violet gradient lens, while it's not an out-and-out bright light sunglass lens, is quite nice as a subdued contrast lens in medium light. The construction is pretty solid and they're snug but comfortable, even on me with a medium-large head (Romeos fit me like a glove, for example). Coverage is less than the full-size Crosshairs, but given the lens isn't a full-on sun lens that's not a problem; I regard these as a fashion statement - a bit like my gen 1 C-wires, they're not for everyday but for when I want something a bit different for a change.

Lens: G40 Black Gradient
First and only pair of wires my Wife has. Good for her smaller face and they have that modified Aviator look that makes Cross hairs so unique. She has found the nose stem have dug into her face after having them on for long periods of time. I think the color scheme is great on this pair, and I'd be interested to see the frame with other types of lense colors.
Frame: Polished Brown
Lens: VR28 Black Iridium
I was never a fan of aviator styles, mainly because most of them were too big or just didn't fit me right. This included Warden and the original Crosshair. With Crosshair S, I decided to give it one more try. The smaller lens size and more rounded shape actually work pretty well for smaller faces. I like that the sculpted earstems with the hole in the center of the icon were carried over from the original. Like most of Oakley's full-rim wire frames, these feel very solid without being too heavy. I'm very happy I tried these out, and I would certainly recommend them to anyone who hasn't had luck with aviators in the past.

I have been eyeing on this pair of glasses for a year before 1 bought it. I'm glad that I bought because I simply LOVE it! it fits perfectly on my Asian face & the lenses do not distort my vision. one thing that bothers me is that my sis & I have 2 pairs but only one pair has serial number on the frame while the other pair do not have. Bought both from the same store at different time
Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Grey
When I was considering the Men's Crosshair, I zeroed in on the matte black pair. After trying them on in the store though, they didn't look right. I decided to try on the Crosshair S just in case, and they fit me much better. Not only do they have a smaller profile, but the straighter stems follow my head's shape smoothly. If you need a smaller option for the Crosshair, try these out. You don't get near as many options to choose from, but it was an easy decision for me after comparing the two models in the mirror.

I never thought I would love PINK glasses...but I find myself wanting to wear these more and more. I'm not much for the huge glasses so I went with the S instead, and getting them off E-bay for under $45, I couldn't say no.
I love the gradient of the lenses. The frames are light and fit really nicely on my face. I can't say enough about these. Also, it allows me to pull off Oakley wear in a high end, dressed-up setting!
Frame: Polished Gold
Lens: VR28 Gold Iridium
A slightly smaller, softer Crosshair. These aren't as tall but seem just as wide, so those with small noses or fat cheeks won't have to deal with the 5-point fit (ears, nose, cheekbones) of other models. Thankfully, the beautifully sculpted earstems are left intact from the original Crosshairs and the smaller lenses seem to help them stand out a little more. still not a fan of aviator styles, though.

I think the Crosshair S provides the perfect alternative to anyone who thought the Crosshair was a bit too much. The colorways appear perfect for the women in your life. Highly recommended - look great and comfy fit.
Frame: Black Chrome
Lens: Black-Violet Gradient
Easily one of my favorite frames. I loved the Crosshair look, but with a Japanese face these are PERFECT. Go great with formal outfits or if you're feeling a little Fear and Loathing. Stunning on women, enticing on men.
Frame: Polished Gold
Lens: VR28 Gold Iridium
I absolutely love these things. They fit medium sized heads like mine as well and not just small ones. The orbitals are reminiscent of the Wardens, which is great if you're not into the ones on the Crosshair. The one time I wished Oakley made a model with a Black/Black or Grey lens and it doesn't get produced. Oh well. 5/5 for a quality frame and great fit.
Frame: Polished Gold
Lens: VR28 Gold Iridium
Again, these frames are very light and comfortable to wear. I actually like the Polished Gold Crosshairs better than this pair. But if you would like smaller lenses this is the route to go.
Frame: Berry
Lens: G40 Black Gradient
At first I thought these might be to feminine looking for me. I tried them on and they look really nice. The frame is very light weight and the lens option with the G40 black gradient looks awesome.

Since I got these for my wife, at least three friends have either picked them up or have said they will. The regular Crosshair is obviously the influence behind this latest "S" version, but the orbital-shape is reminiscent of a Warden. They are great for our small-headed friends and they look great on everyone. This Gold combo is a bit on the "blingy" side but definitely do-able. The other colors look a bit more fun, but you can't really go wrong with any of them. I would like to see Oakley make the Crosshair S with a polarized option though. And perhaps a lens that fights the sun with a bit more gusto. I didn't think I'd be quite as impressed as I am with this one - a very pleasant surprise.
Frame: Black Chrome
Lens: Black-Violet Gradient
The first thing that got me hooked on these was teh Black-Violet Gradient. I think it has a lot of style and you can wear it casual or wear it formal. The fit of the frame itself is very comfortable. Really light weight. I'm hooked.
