Frame: Pol. Black
Lens: Violet Iridium
The Riddle took time to grow on me but now I really like the fit (bigger for excellent coverage) & the Violet Iridium lens is just gorgeous & suitable fo a lot of different lighting conditions. The size would be a bit much for smaller faces. Acetate has a little different feel to it. It's difficult to explain but it feels denser but at the same time flexes differently than O Matter. It even sounds different when you open them. The Earstems are a tad too flat & wide for my taste but it's a minor issue

Were once a Mens frame, then a Womens, now discontinued. Best looking and fitting Oakleys I've ever found. Shame my child destroyed them.

Frame: Ash/Grey
Lens: Polarized
I loved this sunglass very much. I'm a long distance runner, I used it a lot for training and doing one marathon (42km), it fit perfectly in my ears and nose.
Unfortunately the polarized lenses were damaged by use, this model is discontinued, so yesterday I've sent it back to Oakley Brazil and they will return me a Flat Jacket Gold Iridium Polarized.
I've already bought a Radar Path, and I'm enjoying it a lot too.

I liked these but as other users said the hinge is weak and they are now broken. just contacted oakley to get them replaced and was told they are now discontinued... so not too impressed about that as am now stuck with a useless pair of oakleys with perfect lens' hmmmm.

Fantastic fit and my favorite everyday sunglasses. I have many designer sunglasses and these not only look good but feel comfortable. Good with shaved head.

Frame: Pink Latte
Lens: Bronze

I bought these for my girlfriend, now she is hooked. She appreciates seeing the world in a different color, and the pink goes with all of her girly stuff. If you can get them on steepandcheap.com for $40 like I did, they're more than worth it. Give them as a gift, and when she goes shopping, sees them in a store, and checks to see how much you spent on her (like all women do), she'll be surprised and impressed. ;)

This frame is a good one. My only issue is that the frame tends to be really week at the hinge. I had them replaced for a second time. However, defect does seem to have been corrected properly. Haven't had an issue since. Therefore, I give it 4 skulls.

I can't believe so many people think this is woman’s pair of glasses, they look grate but the fit is not to good I always feel like they are not sitting correctly on my face, and I have a hard time keeping the arm on them I think I have gone trough 2 pairs, but now I’m extra careful and I try not to wear them as much they nose peace fits OK but they could have done a better job w/ that.

Frame:Polished black
Lens:Violet Iridium

I had wanted these for some time, but it wasn't worth $100+ for me. Found them at my Vault for under $80 and I couldn't pass them up. The HUGE violet lenses are odd to look through, but an amazing look. I can't imagine why they don't offer this lens in more options.

Beyond that, the frame is tight, but not to the point where it hurts...almost a perfect fit. The large size makes them perfect for today's style. First day wearing them...everyone asked about my sunglasses...no one has commented on them being designed for women!

too big for my asian face.as far as standing out, caught my attention right away when I walked in the store so I picked one up and used the lens for a custom.I made my girl cousin try it on before hand and it looks great. My opinion, just goes well with the ladies

Violet Iruium is a spectacular lense, I tired putting the violet lens in the white ducati riddles, looked even better, but the black with violet is a very nice combo.
LEX7 -
Frame:Polished Black
Lens:Violet Iridium

one of the best looking recent combos, this is all because of the huge riddle lens which really brings the violet lens to life, working perfectly with the polished black frame. As i have said previously these dont lok good on me and arent particularly comfortable but they are a collection must and cos they are a stretchline combo are hard to find.
OsmosisJones -
Frame: Brown
Lens: Bronze

I like them personally, but prefer black frames more.

The Riddles themselves are awesome, especially the Violet stretchline's. Definately not as much as a female-specific frame as I thought it was

I actually saw a guy walking around wearing the Ducati Riddles recently, so it's not just us o-reviewer males that like them.

Frame: Pink Latte
Lens: Bronze

I picked this up for my fiancee. It's good for her because she wants a large lense, and I prefer to get her an Oakley because the US Army doesn't buy Dolce & Gabanna for their service people. She says it is a bit tight for her, but after some wearing, things went fine. The lense is not bad, and she finds clarity when using it for driving.

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium

First the pros, cool design and excellent eye coverage. Now the cons, these were way to small for a big head. The back of my ears started to hurt because of the pressure of the ear stems. This would be good for people with small heads or high thresholds of pain.

they fit my big head pretty good i love the lensse shape and the way they cover your face(because this is what they do they cover your face not only your eyes).I wear them clubbing and they are deffinatly made for a classyer look
i give them a 4

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Violet Iridium

A litte big and more of a fashion accessory. Design will not look good on everybody because of the size and shape. Violet Iridium lens rock and I believe people will want one just because of this lens. 3 stars for the design, 5 stars for the lens.

Frame: Polished White
Lens: Brown Gradient
I bought these for my wife and she loves them. The style is not suitable to everyone, but I think they are a quality product. They feel more expensive than they are. They have a comfortable fit and they come in a nice range of flashy combos. So, not for eveyone, but if you are into fashion glasses, these beat the crap out of the stuff coming out of the top fashion houses....
O_MattR -
Frame: Ash
Lens: Grey Polarized

I know the response that these glasses along with most of the new "fashion" oriented frames have gotten. But I for one actually like all of the new styles including the Riddles(yes even the "MonteFreakOs"). They are actually very comfortable, and the Ash frame looks awsome! I only wish that Oakley would release more styles in this frame.
OZZY -
Frame:BLK CHERRY / G30
Lens: Whatthe F--- ? These things are totaly metal. Ive got copper pennys that look more girlish. Put on a cap and a fat dope rope and these shades rock. I like being able to see through my oakleys without seeing the frames. These fit the bill. Oakley is thinking out of the box again !! Great job 5 stars..

Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Ruby Clear

Lex, what about a hot GUY model? Or failing that, me? Haha!

Anyway, I think these Riddles are fantastic. Oakley NEEDED to release glasses styled like this to capture the fashion market.

They are big, but that's what they crazy kids are wearing these days. I am one of those crazy kids.

I swapped the Ruby Clear lens (released only for the London O Store limited edition) and put it into the Polished Black frame, and these glasses look HOT. Best colour combo ever. The White/Black Iridium looks good too - my Stormtrooper sunglasses!

If you want some fashionable, mainstream Oakleys, or your girlfriend is looking for a pair of fashion type sunglasses, give the Riddles a go.

Oak is right they look good in a collection but dont look good on, well maybe on a hot model.
NOT for guys!

Frame: Black Cherry
Lens: G30 Black

This one did have to grow on me a bit and everyone is right they are HUGE!! Dan-E is right, I think they allow Oakley to compete with Gucci-type glasses. I think guys can pull them off, but you have to be able to pull off that type of garrish attitude. (Not sure if I can, but I got them anyway) In terms of styling I think they allow Oakley to compete better than say the Monte Frio. Even if I don't wear them that often, they are an interesting and unique addition to the collection.

Frame: Ash
Lens: Grey Polarized

The problem with these is that I want to like them, but they just do not fit male's faces. They have a really cool shape, but when I put them on, they just too high on my face. Bottom line is they are good looking glasses, but not intended for men.
Oak -
Frame: White
Lens: London O-Store Ruby Clear

At first glance, this is one ugly sunglass. On second glance, it's still ugly. But after a while, it grows on you; it starts looking pretty cool. Well, the London O-Store Ruby Clears do anyway. They're big and don't fit me well, but they display real nice. I'm giving it a 2.5 but rounding up to 3.

Frame: Brown
Lens: Bronze
This is clearly Oakley's attempt to tap into the fashion accesory market and I can see these succeeding on some level as slightly cheaper alternative to the Prada or Gucci or whatever other companies make those ridonkulously huge glasses for fashion-consious women. For me, well, I thought the Zero L looked absurd. It certainly looked cool on the catalog but its a bit garish in person and the base curve is a bit much for my large head. That and I'm clearly the wrong gender for them.
bong -
Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium

tried it at my local OPD the other day... man, are they huge! they look a bit cartoonish by themselves and even more so when i tried them on. not that they fit my head though because the base curve is very steep. they're definitely designed for smaller heads, which would look a bit more ridiculous because they're so big.
LEX7 -
Frame:Ash
Lens:Grey Polarized

i was expecting great things of this frame colour, cos it looks amazing on the oakley website but saldy in real life it is very different. the white bits are much less obvious so it looks more like a crystal black with very faint white specs in.
very boring.
this was gonna be the only way id buy a pair od riddles,
they are gigantic and clearly for fashion use only, they are comfortable but just not made for anything else but posing.
sparra -
Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium

I tried them on, and the lens shape and front part of the frame was not too bad - definately one for the girls though. I found the arms to be the worst thing about them, they taper in too quickly, looking too thin for such a large sunglass - a bit out of proportion.
x-metalman -
Frame: Polished Black
Lens: Black Iridium
I'd say it's a feminine frame most definitely. The frame itself is very large, but it has such a steep curve to it that I'd say it's suited to smaller head sizes who like the huge sunglass look. Very much a fashion frame.
kingphilbert -
Frame: Ash
Lens: Grey Polar

They look cool but just doesn't do it. It's very large and the lens/frame curve was so much that it barely fit my head without flex/stretching it out, and I don't have a big head by any stretch. Even having the metal hinge made the flex hard and the start of the earstems come to close to uncomfortably sitting against my temples.

I'm adding a star as of 7/10/05. I have recenlty tried the Black Cherry pair and the fit very well. Better than the Gascan even. It's still a shame that this is so large.

Frame: Pol Black

For the ladies (I think...or at least not for me). A large monolithic lens set into a o-matter frame that has orbitals, odd to say the least. I can dig the overall styling to an extent, but I'm just not sure who this is appealing to (similar to Dartboard L, but not to that extreme).
Surfergirl -
Frame: These frames warp!! I have had to send them back 3 times. I have the polarized ones and wish I had not spent the $200 for this piece of #$%@!!@!!! Also the ear stem broke. I bought the first pair 1 1/2 yrs ago and the warranty is now expired. Oakley says too bad.... Now I am stuck with this expensive, defective, broken sunglass. Oakley sucks. Don't buy!
