Congrats, Oak. The opportunity to snag both csix is truly something incredible. Add to that your other Elite pieces and you've amassed a very impressive collection.

Oak,

Do you have any oakley timepieces? I know you have an interest in higher end watches, so I was wondering if most oakley watches didn't quite fit that category for you.

No. No Oakley timepieces for me yet. I love the designs on several of them, but in the end they don't interest me for the most part. Only the TBII and Red TT have really made me think about a purchase.

Congrats, Oak. They are both beautiful, but I prefer the aluminum version. Nice that you have both, congrats again, my friend!

Any of you C6 owners plan on wearing these further than 6 feet from your display towers? I'd be worried beyond reason that someone would recognize them and snatch them off your face.

I wore the Aluminum C6 around town a few times over the Christmas holidays and the CF C6 all throughout the weekend and on Monday. They're both solely display pieces now. I wasn't too worried about them being recognized. It's really something only collectors would know about, and there isn't a whole lot of collectors around here. Besides, they're not all that flashy such that they'll compel someone to have a closer look.

On another topic, Oakley Canada confirms both versions of the C6 qualify for lifetime lenses. So those who have it or are looking to get it, wear it well and don't be too worried about keeping those lenses mint.

Oak, few men on this planet can say they are a target of my envy. You, good sir, are one of them.
Wear them in style, as you always do.

Was at the O Store in Westfields, London today. They had the C6 Aluminum (#313 I believe) and the Time Bomb II (#629). I couldn't bring myself to trying either on without buying. Didn't think it was right for the person who actually would buy it - kinda like it was used, even for a minute.

The watch is wicked. The display was at just the right height where you walk up and look down on it - catches the drool nicely.

Can't say much for the glasses, they were in their display but folded.

That's a good point. With such limited productions, what is the policy for trying them on. Seems like there's a great risk for just general misuse.

Very respectful of you Matthew, I agree totally. If your not gonna buy it don't try it on.

Tried on both at the Vegas O store today. The C6 is really sick. Must have.

TBII is sick as well - just amazing. The people at the Vault here were less than impressive. I was the one that actually sold a pair for them to my bro' that lives out here. The Manager at the O store was a cool cat and actually apologized for the people at the Vault. He had the TT as well as I and we swapped O dialog for almost an hour.

I didn't buy either but he could tell I had the passion just as he did. Always nice to meet people like that in the O stores.

Cool that you got to check out both versions, Nik. Did you walk away convinced on the aluminum pair ... or is that CF pair starting to lure you in?

Enjoy Vegas!

Ahhh. I'm in for a Ti pair unless I pick up some major sidework really soon. Cool shades though.

They make Ti versions Nik? Lol, would be cool though.

I respectfully disagree with the only try it on if you're gonna buy it. Who's going to drop $4K on sunglasses that don't fit? And really, wouldn't that mentality work for all glasses then? From the $4000 C6 to the $100 Fives, being tried on still makes them somewhat used. Afterall, they are sunglasses. They were engineered and constructed with the intent of being on someone's face.

Hi everyone, just got a voicemail that my alum c-six have arrived. I've been waiting since beginning of January for these to come in. Should be picking them up sometime next week. I purchased thru optometrist office here in Carlsbad, and was told only a handful of offices were able to order the c-six. I feel thankful n lucky mine was one of em :)
