On another note...what do you think the 6-day lag is between ending the juding and announcing the winners?

Do you think they will notify the winners before they announce them in order to make sure they can make it out?

I would think that would be correct Justin. Make sure all 50 who are listed as the ones coming.
I guess you don't want 49 there when they could have had 50.

The rules state that upon being unable to contact you, they will choose another. Personally I think a 6-day lag might be too little.

My Time Tank raised some eyebrows at the airport. Guess they though it was made of bullets or something.

I always carry my SI vertical computer bag as a carry-on and always get looked at odd because of all the over-sized clasps, etc...I refuse to take my tank off going through the metal detector (I'm not allowing airport security to scratch my baby up) so I've never really gotten questioned about it, although I ALWAYS get asked to pull my torpedo vault out of my bag and show them. I'm sure it looks very odd in the x-ray machine, lmao...

when i first got my romeos in 99' i got a vault too and when i went through the airport there were 3 TSA people going through my bag and then they opened up the vault and i could almost hear them going .. DAAAAAMMMMNNNNN

I got a phone call yesterday from an area code and number that I didn't recognize and my stomach dropped. I was like "HOLY SHIT! IT'S OAKLEY FOR THE CO-PILOT COMPETITION!"....but it turned out to be the guy I'm buying my Oakley poster frame from...

^^^ dude, the exact same thing happened to me too i was in the truck on the way back from picking up the tower.. but it was a wrong number... damn, my heart was racing though.

i hear ya! same here, got a missed call form an "unknown number"......but did not leave any message....i guess from now on yoo should not let you cell battery run out(if you gave your cell number)and you have to answer all calls even you think its a collector from your debts...he he

Hahaha, I love this place! If I told that to anyone else, they'd think I was nuts, but here it's commonplace. Good stuff.

The 12th is getting awefully close now! That is also the day my new Emotiva amp should be delivered ... so I'm crossing my fingers that I have nothing but blissfull news coming my way on Thursday.

All I'm saying is, my wife will have a much more enjoyable Valentines if I get good news on the 12th.

side note: another reason I really love the co-pilot contest - I think it has really lit a fire under a lot of folks and, as a result, we have seen a lot more action on the o-review and a lot of positive energy around here.

It has made my visits here a whole lot more fun. Waking up with 7-10 threads with 'new' posts is a little treasure every day!

i already got my wife a new enduring for valentines, if i saw my name on the 12th, maybe an addtional white dial crankcase to complete her valentines. "my wife is pregant and due march 20th, hope before or after the event..."

I don't remember entering my phone number, so I guess I'll be checking my mail.

Dawn brought that up, too. We didn't recall entering a phone number, so we've been checking our respective emails like crazy people.

When I set up the loopd account it asked me for my phone number if I recall correctly. I know i entered it at some time. If you logon and then select 'settings' it shows what information is entered, i.e. address, phone number.

But I agree, glued to the phone and email for the next few days is going to be murder.

Anyone hear anything yet? I'm literally unable to think of anything else.
