I am doing a speech for one of my classes about the advances of Oakley sunglasses and I'm looking to add a little visual flair. A while back a I remember seeing a picture of a biker who wiped out and his face was all torn up with intact Juliets lodged in his lip. Does anyone have that picture saved or know where it is?

I'm also in search of the link from the company that tested the optical clarity of a bunch of sunglasses. They compared how things lined up with glasses as opposed to the naked eye and Oakley obviously blew everyone else away. Does anyone remember the link?

Thanks for the help, I suck at searching. If you happen to have anything else that I could use toss it out. I figured doing a speech about Oakley would motivate me to get it started. :p

edit: Found the x metal lodged in the lip picture...

There is a cool picture from the FORCE's SI PROGRAM. It is of a Canadian soldier who survived and IED explosion while overseas. His face is covered with burns and lacerations.....except the perfect outline of his M-Frames.
I will try to find it and post for you.

Edit: I can't find the photo...sorry dude.

Would you mind sticking the pics you find in this thread - they would be pretty cool to see!

I'm not positive, butI think the optical clarity test was called something along the lines of "Top Gun" or something.

The crash picture you're talking about was a Romeo, I'll try and find it.

Wasn't the picture with the Romeo a bike accident?

That's one reason I don't wear X-Metals while riding. They are strong enough that they will tear you up in a bad wreck. They other reason is that I don't want them to fall off my head, land on the asphalt and get damaged (due to their high cost). O-matter and wires should just bend and possibly snap, but won't injure you as badly as X-Metals (I would suspect).

Damn, it doesn't matter how many time I see that I still cringe. It just looks impossible almost, but there it is.
