I just had to have them. I ended up with a pair of gas/gold iridium eye jackets that eventually were stolen, but those were simply amazing sunglasses! I knew that would be far from the last pair of Oakley's I'd ever own.

I have a time tank black with orange face. I love it! It is the ultimate in your face look. Screams 'Screw you!!' To conventional wrist watches. All that said, as sturdy as this watch is remember it is raw titanium and raw titanium scratches very easy, I'm talking if you look at with a scowl it'll scuff the band. So just be ok with scuffs and scratches if you plan on wearing it. It adds character.

Title says it all. I had a pair that someone stole right from my backyard. None can be found on eBay or elsewhere. Don't care about box, coin, etc. please PM me if you have a pair available or if you know how a pair can be obtained.

Alright, I've been busy lately with a lot of really great buys. I think the last month has been my best since I started collecting Oakley stuff. All of this stuff is way too cool not to wear!
First the minor stuff.
Nice for when I want to keep any sort of watch safe when I'm traveling or doing my martial arts.
Very nice wallet, though thick. I usually take the insert out when using it.
Square Whiskers VR28 (no iridium coating great for overcast) / Burnt copper Frames
LOVE these! Super light without a doubt the most comfortable and invisible Oakleys I own.
Titanium Crosshair 2012 Tungsten Iridium Polarized / Titanium Frames
I also love these to death! Biggest lenses I own. They fit great and the new nose couplers are very stable.
X-Squared Black Iridium Polarized / Polished Carbon Frames
Unreal styling, absolutely the best X-metals without peer. I can't believe I'm saying this, but they are better than the Juliets by a long shot.
X-Squared VR-28 Black Iridium Polarized / Chrome Polished Frames.
I'd probably have to say these are my favorite of the bunch, but I rotate them all very regularly!
Last but certainly not least:
Time Tank Black with Orange highlights / Titanium Band
It's tanken me years, but I finally FINALLY got my hands on one of these bad boys! Absolutely love this watch. I get so many compliments it's scary. My who's a watch guy saw it and couldn't stop fawning over the styling.
I didn't do this on purpose but this haul is nothing but titanium!

I had to look at the picture for a full 45 minutes before I saw the surfboard Andrew was talking about...

The face of that watches is amazing! I honestly am not to crazy about the band or bezel, but the face is great.

Ya, that Urwerk is what I'm talking about! Design beyond purpose, meet price beyond reason.

Here's the thing about mechanical watches. They suck at maintaining accurate time. Period. every single one of them measures accuracy in + or - several seconds per day. Tourbillons and other exotic complications help to correct this, but nothing on earth comes close to the accuracy of a quartz watch, at least nothing you can wear on your wrist. Even a $10 watch keeps better time than a Zenith, Panerai, or Rolex. I can think of no other eccentricity other than watch collection that this is the case. Audiophiles have tubes and vinyl, but a very excellent argument can be made that they are literally superior sounding than solid state. I for one use tubes in my setup. Classic cars were made with steel engine blocks not aluminum. Another collectors piece that an arguement can be made where the old school is superior. But watches? Pure nostalgia, pure fascination with a mechanical thing simply because it is purely mechanical. No logic involved, no argument can be made otherwise. That said, I think us Oakey fanatics rocking 30+ different shade can respect the idea if owning something because we carry a deep appreciation for design and uniqueness.

Is that real carbon fiber or the fake garbage Oakley uses on 99% of what they label as "carbon fiber"?

I accidentally left the stop watch functionality running on my TT for at least a day or two not realizing it. Just curious if anyone has seen a huge impact on battery life if you do this.

I scuffed the face. bottom left side next to the sapphire. It's barely noticeable, but it's definitely there.

Got the TT yesterday, wow is all I have to say! I would describe it as badassness distilled into a military weapon for your wrist. Then... I scuffed it! DOH!!! It's very minor and I'm not even sure how I did it to be honest, but I just have to be more careful.
The polished carbon x-squareds I won on eBay were shipped to my place and arrived earlier this week, one problem though, the seller accidentally sent me the polished VR28s instead! I was soooo furious at first. Then I realized that this mistake would cost the poor guy over $100 in shipping because these were supposed to go to a different buyer and he now had to rush ship mine back to himself and then overnight both! Any way I just got the polished carbons in the mail and just about pissed myself when I opened up the box. These are BOSS!! Definitely going post some pics and a PW!!!
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I will say though, part of me still really wants the TB2... haha it never ends.

Thanks guys! with this purchase I am now officially in two elite clubs. I am finally an Oakley watch owner and I am now officially a watch nerd! I have a Panerai Luminor Marina and now this. Obviously the Panerai is my classy dress watch, but my TT is my everything else watch. I will post photos of my two purchases and possibly a PW as well. :D

Thanks for the help guys. So, here's what my brain decided. Why buy just a TB when you can buy a TT and something else with the extra cash you would have spent otherwise.... So I got:
Love the yellow highlights! Not too much bling but enough that it isn't boring like some of the colorways.
AND the icing on the cake!
Both should be arriving early next week!!!!

Jordan,
You can help me. Do you find yourself favoring one over the other? Do you worry about the strap on the TB?
One other point I forgot to ask everyone, I have small wrists I definately know the TT will fit me because of the way the strap wraps my wrist, it's obvious it fits. The TB on the other hand seems slightly wide and the saddle goes beyond my wrist. Has anyone had an issue with it fitting them?

I disagree on looks alone. I tried on a hollow point and it did nothing for me. I guess it's more conventional in a sense and doesn't scream OAKLEY like TT or TB. Functionally I will say it is a lot lighter than TT and possibly a better time piece, but I'm not too clear on the reasons for that.

And this is why I asked you guys. That is a pretty one sided endorsement! I do love the styling of the time tank as well as the styling of the Time bomb 2. I didn't know that the strap was just rubber under titanium plates! I thought there was more to it than that, had I known that the choice would have been obvious. Sort of reminds me of the Pitboss. Yes it has titanium plates, but they are strictly for show and offer no strengthening to the frame.
On top of everything the Tank is cheaper which means I can buy that AND a pair of x-squared carbon polished!!!

I'm thinking I want to buy one or the other, but not both. I know price-wise they are quite a bit different, but I thought I'd ask you guys. I am actually going to wear this watch, it is not going to sit in some glass case. Are there any issues or problems with either of these that would make you say 'for actual use x is better than y.' Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys. It's great that we can speak honestly and openly about this sort of thing without name calling or having the conversation degrade into a mess. Lance Armstrong is an American hero and nothing is harder to to watch than the destruction of that whether it is deserved or not. In a way it reminds me of OJ Simpson. He was a legend and seeing that facade crumble was sad though completely necessary. The way that mess was carried out is similar to this mess!

Am I the only one who thinks he actually WAS doping? Floyd Landis said Armstrong was doping, Tyler Hamilton said he did, many around Armstrong have admitted to doping. I guess I understand that there isn't a bloody syringe or anything concrete, but come on. At some point you have to ask yourself are all these people lying or is just one person lying?
