Damn, thankls for the heads up Bill, Oakley have always have problems with some frames coatings, like the fmj ones, etc.

Hope its just a batch issue in your case, will be curious to see if we see or hear more about those frames doing that in the coming weeks...

Bill, what is your serial number on the Hijinx? If it's a batch issue we can watch out for it if we're within your range.

Wow, had no idea! If it's a known problem, you;d think they would have a better solution by now. I'm officially done with metallic frames unless there's unobtanium to protect the paint.

Edit: Dann is referring to a pair of Fives 3.0, yeah it happens on some frames...

It happened to my Fives 3.0 in Cinder Red, didn't take long too. Sent them back and they were replaced under warranty.
To scared to wear them now.

I actually had what sounds like a similar problem happen on a Polished Black Montefrio. A small scratch in the frame led to a small bubble and peel of a coating on the inner brow were it gets heavy sweat.

Hmmm, the Cinder Red on my Oil Drum shows no sign of wear, and it has been worn under heavy sweat conditions too.

Does anyone have a bigger, clearer version of the Hijinx logo (ie. a non-photograph .jpg file)? What a cool design. If I were to get an Oakley tattoo, the Hijinx logo would be frontrunner.

HaHa, no eBay for me.
Yea I paid 90/each. Im not sure where people are getting 160 from, but if thats what they paid, they got ripped off.

And yea, I think its a clown..or a Jester.
What if these were called JESTER.

What happened to me was same thing .

I went to the o-store to buy some some replacement lens for my juliet. When i was going out i saw the Chantry!! But they were closing.

So next day i just called them up and ask to put 1 on hold for me. Then i got there i bought 2 pairs, it was saturday. I came home and realized that i should buy more. I went back there and bought 2 more.

So i had 4. I sold 1, trade 1 and still have 2.

I don't get why they would retail it in an o store for $90 but ask OPD to sell it for $160? Thanks makes NO SENSE at all, there is a big problem somewhere. There is no way that $90 is correct, but congrats to the ones that picked them up for that.

Acutally $90 is correct at O-Stores anyway. I think there may be a problem with communications between Oakley and OPDs... that's what it seem sin the PNW anyways. Argue until you get them for $90! haha ;)

I will see what I can do, I have talked to a couple other accounts and they were the same. $90 just seems way to good to be true!
