Gosh darn, those transformers bring back memories.

I still have all of the originals that I got back in the day. Including Wheeljack, Hound, Jetfire, Sideswipe and a bunch of others.

I just might pull them out of safe keeping and revisit my youth.

I bought these a couple weeks back but just found the pics cleaning out my work computer.

Simpsons Bust Ups. Pre-painted mini models. They're about 2-3" at the tallest.

That was series one, and series two is on it;s way this summer. The theme: Food. Cheif Wiggum and the merciless peppers of Quetzlzacatenango!, Apu, Sanjay and the Squishee machine, Bart and Marge in the Kitchen and Homer stealing the Gummi Venus.

The Simpsons are by far my favorite Cartoon family, with The Griffins (Family Guy) comeing in at a close second. Anybody here collect GI Joe action figures? Well if you do I bet you dont have as many as everyones favorite intoxicated eBayer, drunkinstupid. Everyone remember him, the guy who would spend several hundreds of dollars a week on Ruby Juliets, and then he would spend a couple of thousand on display cases, ever wonder what happened to him? Well, I checked his feedback the other day, and he has 2 full pages of feedback from people who sold him GI-Joe action figures, and not a single feedback from anything Oakley related. So if you want to make a fortune, sell all of your GI Joe stuff to drunkinstupid http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=drunkinstupid

I wouldn't sell my GI Joe stuff for any money. That was a huge part of my childhood and hopefully someday my son will get as much enjoyment out of them as I did. Man they just don't make toys like that anymore.

I don’t know man, I never really liked G.I. Joe toys that much (or Masters of the Universe for that matter) for the simple fact that they broke too easily. They had that rubber band waist thing, which after a couple of months of heavy play would corrode and snap. I was always more partial to Star Wars (original and 2nd generation Kenner) and Ninja Turtles.

Have you guys seen the Titanium series Transformers? I just saw them yesterday and was amazed by the boxed Optimus and Megatron figures (not too impressed with the smaller, cheaper ones, though). Love the die-cast and display concept.

Also bought a few figures from the Star Wars Transformer series a while back. I've always thought the idea of a SW/TF collaboration would be a good idea, and while the figures aren't exactly the best transforming and nicest looking ones out there, I still like the idea of the X-over. Seems like they're putting out really fun things with the Transformers line again. Can't wait to see what they're gonna have going next year for the movie.

I guess two pool cues constitutes a collection, albeit a small one. Here's my second of two acquistions. I just ordered it yesterday. It's being shipped to my Canadian address so I won't actually get my hands on it until I'm home for the Christmas holidays:

I love movies. I unfortunately haven't been keeping up with the cataloge, but I'm somewhere at 900 or more DVD titles. I'd take a picture and post it, but unfortunately Dawn's sister is using my DVD bookcases as shelving for her stuff... I'm hoping to re-cataloge and alphabetize them before the end of September. Right now it's a bit of a clusterf**k.

I collect a few anime figures. Only the ones that really, really interest me though, so thankfully I don't have a lot strewn about.

I have 6,401 (subject to change in about thirty seconds) beer bottle caps, from 52 different beers.

Favorites are from the very first batch of Anheuser World Select and one of the last of the old-style Nastro Azzurro bottles.

Phil, I'm borrowing that image for my Myspace main pic. Hope you don't mind.

I'm not sure which impresses me more: 900 DVD's or 6401 bottlecaps. Either way, that's some dedication. I always admire dudes with dedication. If you're going to do something - might as well do it obsessively. (A motto I live by)

For me, it's more a love. Honestly, I think my love for movies almost signifigantly outweighs my love for Oakleys.

I hear ya. Being Oakley obsessed doesn't mean you can't a little fun on the side (nudge nudge wink wink)
