Well I guess you're here because you want to know about me. I'm 16 years old, and totally Oakley obsessed. I grew up in southern Oregon and plan to move back there sometime soon. I moved out to Upstate NY with my parents because of their work. They are air traffic controllers. I have worn sunglasses since I was very young as I have very sensitive eyes. It was in the summer of 2004 that i first discovered oakley. While on vacation in Williamsburg Virginia I was lucky enough to find a pair of Matte Black/Black Iridium Minutes on a bench at busch gardens. Well i took them into the local sunglass hut to find out if they were authentic (they were) and then i first saw the Juliets. From that point on i was OBSESSED with getting a pair of those amazing sunglasses. I finally got a set in january of the next year, for valentines day, a gift from my parents (I paid for half of them). I then saw black hawk down and realized that the ruby juleits were the most amazing things i had ever seen. I dedicated my life to finding a set and now i finally have them. Over the course of less than a year I have acquired a display case, numerous display items, 15 pairs of sunglasses (including 5 rare x-metals). And a timebomb watch. This site has truly inspired me to beome an oakley freak, and i have met some really cool people through this sight.
The fact that oakley is selling out has dissapointed me so much, and their lack of vision in these last few months has truly dissapointed me.
Mad props to Dann for helping to jumpstart my obsession wiht this amazing site... props to most of the admins too... the ones who arent fuckheads.

hahaha, Kramer is the best character on sienfeld, I do think its ridiculous that he's spewing this crap in public, let alone at a show, but i also find it funny that if an african american comedian started screaming at white people and calling them crackers and honkies he wouldnt get nearly as much heat.

Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out
LMAO, and then thou shalt pull the pin from the holy handgrenade of antioch and thou shal lobbeth it at thine enemy.... haha
-Thou shalt always try thine best to aid people who are searching for sunglasses at a sunglass store, to follow the proper path, and wear oakley.
-Thou shalt shun all sunglasses but oakley
-Thou shalt not have false idols (no FOAKLEYS!!)

haha, yea the romeo lense is considerably larger, but why would you want to swap lenses in the first place? all of the lenses available for romeo are available for Juliet, and then some.

My advise is to always inquire, wherever you go. I walked into my local champs store one day about a year ago and talked to the manager for about half an hour and he said "hey i got something you might be interested in" so he took me in the back room and there, sitting alone, dusty, and unused in a corner was a single wide display case, he said "one hundred bucks and its yours." I gave him the cash right there and i had myself an oakley case

So I'm gona rock pennies and a black dress shirt, with a black leather jacket and grey slacks... nothin amazing but i still think it'll look good

First ever pair was a piar of black on black minutes that i was lucky enough to find on a park bench in virginia... however i like to consider the first pair i ever got the first one i actually bought, which would be polished/ blue juliets

Definutely not feelin the new displays, like yukio said, its another step away from the oakley that i fell in love with, alot has changed in a year eh?
Sep 30, 2006 9:46 PM
And Hoots, changes have occured in the past year, changes have occured every year - please don't make the mistake of thinking everyone agrees this is a bad thing like you.
Obviously not everyone agrees with me, but am i no longer allowed to voice my opinions?
Sep 28, 2006 5:06 AM
Oh my god! this is too funny, forgive me everyone but the only phrase i can think of to describe my reaction to all that is...
Sep 28, 2006 4:56 AM
