My understanding is the Mod 5 will have different modules that can be added to it such as Bluetooth in the future. The Mod 3 will not have the adaptable module concept.

I don't remember reading anything about add-in modules for Bluetooth, but that would be slick if it did. My understanding was that the Mod 5 has modular brims for the front of the helmet to adjust the fit for various goggle models, to remove/reduce the gap between the helmet/goggle.

Call me crazy but what do you guys think about using either of these for MTB?

MOD3 & MOD5 are starting to show up at O Stores; Park City O Store has them in.

look so cool but my big head is sweating just looking at them. I cant wear a helmet unless it has a ton of vents!

Went with the MOD5... a bit more masculine; I liked the lines and shape of it better. Also, my Home Bunker only received the MOD3 in White, and MOD5 in Black... I knew I wanted Black.

Worth noting... it seems that of all the colors we saw initially (black/red, camo, etc...), the O Stores are only getting Black, White, & Blue versions of the MOD3 & MOD5.

Model 5 looks good! I want one!
