ok, think this thread went left field from the get go...to me legendary would be something that crept its way past security, out of the muck and is a pair that never should have seen the light of day, or was destroyed before it could escape. Almost to the point that it could be mistaken as the "Alpha and the Omega Baby!!" (Bruce Almighty). If I had to think of a pair off the top of my head, this would be the Rodman Zeros...not a knock off or remake, but the ones he wore. made just for him and never hit circulation if I am correct. That is Legendary.
I'm partial to the Matte Clear/Ti Clear Iridium Thump 1s. First time we got to see the internal circuitry and made for promotional purposes/photo shoots only. Certainly became legendary when the Thump lineup was a regular thing. I think the legend was further developed when JJ said he had only seen a couple and thought they were very cool
Romeo 1.0 with two sets of serial numbers.
Four-digit Jordan-release #s.
Six-digit later-release #s.
Only one like that amongst several I've had the opportunity to handle.
Like a prototype OTT that can't even fit on a human head?
I'm sure that meets the criteria.
Background: A couple versions of the prototype OTT was given by the powers that be to the gentleman that ran the original Rolling O (I'm sure most, if not all, of you know who this is). The real interesting thing is there was consideration for nose bombs in at least one version.
