Jupiter! The watch he got wasn't the gold Olympic version. The box said Athens 2004, but it was just a stainless Blade. Unless it was white gold, but I thought the gold Olympic blades were yellow gold. I forget the amount of plating but I heard it was more than double most gold plated rings. Something like 300 mills.

Scalpers will find a reason to scalp, be it a good picture, an article or even a video review. The benefit of the video concept outweighs the scalping. It's a great addition and educational tool for new members. Fuck the scalpers if they use it for their purposes.

I like some of the messages conveyed through these videos. It's stuff that some of the veterans have been trying to say to the newer collectors for a long time, stuff that would be tough to get through with written words. Advice such as focusing on quality over quantity or buying for enjoyment rather than pressure/value are lessons we all eventually learn but wish it had been learned earlier, since the message is easily lost when we're excited.

That's what I'm figuring. Hopefully I can educate the buyers at the same time, so they know what to look for. Knowledge can't be a bad thing.
