I have 4 pair of these...can't wer'em out! These things are like iron and the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Love'em!
The Game -
Color: Black

I had these years ago, loved them but I never knew if I should wear them with socks or not. I didn't so they ended up smelling really bad. Wore them down and retired them. Wish they would rerelease them.

I tried theses after I could not find any more Flesh in my size. These are way more stiff and hold you in the shoe better with less neoprene. I liked that I had more traction than the Flesh but wasn't a real fan of the white stitching. I wore these 2+ years and the pods started coming off being very wore and thin and I retired them.

Sleek, stylish, comfortable, and innovative are just a few adjectives that come to mind when describing these shoes. Having several pairs for a number of years, I must say that these are some of the ONLY shoes that I will wear other than... you know what (refer to my name if you can't figure it out). For the Bottlecap, the traction pods not only look great, but serve to provide excellent traction, as their name implies. It's also nice to have a pair of shoes to simply slip on and off, and these are very comfortable. The only drawback I've noticed is that the traction pods are actually attached with an adhesive which may fail over time, resulting in the pod actually "falling off", in addition to the "snug fit" of the neoprene deteriorating. Then again, that's almost expected from shoes that are years old and have been worn repeatedly.

I just got me another pair of these and still missing a one for the satisfaction of my collection. I have 5 pairs now all in different color because they are just comfortable and awesome design. Similar shoes are featured in the SF modern art museum along with Shoe One. These shoes are just a must have!

These are very light and comfortable and seem like a style that anyone could pull off.

this shoe started out slow , with few people liking it, but as time went by , a lot of the people who bought the shoe , came back to buy a new pair. they were that comfortable!
personnaly , i liked the black color the best

Simple. Nice. Great for someone who's looking for a half-frame O matter sunglass at the right price. Fits small to medium sized faces. The absence of the unobtanium earsocks and nose bombs create a lighter feel to the sunglass. May feel cheap, but guess what... it's still O-Matter with shatter proof lenses.

How did I miss these guys? I work at SGH, and I never really tried them until a month later. After I put them on, it was an instant sale. I had a pair of Half Jackets, and I like how the Bottlecap doesn't have rubber on the temples and the nose. I find that makes them fit more comfortably. The frame is wider than the Half Jacket, so it is good for larger faces. And, just like the Half Jacket, they are very lightweight. A great buy!

I have been wearing the HJ normal lenses for quite sometime, and find that the Bottlecap is a nice departure from the HJs. I like it's fit on my face, better than HJs. Then again, they serve different purposes as I use HJs for my outdoor sport activities while the bottlecap is for driving. In short, I like the shape and fit of the bottlecap and it's at a great price point as well. Cheers.

Very good set of budget shades from Oakley. They actually feel better on my face than either of the Half Jackets which is saying something and unlike the XLJ, the lenses don't touch my cheekbones. It's just too bad that there's no unobtanium since they'd make a pretty good set of lenses for sports but as it is, they're already a nice, snug fit.

tried the Bottlecaps at a local OPD recently, and unfortunately they didn't fit me. i did like the overall squarish shape, quite a departure from the angular Half Jackets. they're also very light. i understand these are going for a budget pricepoint, but they're not significantly cheaper than standard Half Jackets, which offer interchangable lens kits and probably fit better with Unobtanium earsocks and nosebombs.

Interesting alternative to the Half Jacket. With a lower price point, it's tempting to go for these, but you really can't beat the Styling of a Half Jacket. They are very light on the plus side.

I am surprised at how much I like these. I actually like the departure of Unobtainium on these. The square lenses are also a very nice touch. If they fit me better, I'd probably get these.

Like the flesh, a great shoe with just some extra design "snazz". Super comfortable and a great shoe. The only problem I've had is with the heel liner wearing out and starting to dig into my skin.

Very nice. Larger than expected. A larger lens than the HJ closer to the depth of the Monster Dog lens. It fit very well and I was very pleased with it overall. Even being a "budget" frame for this style is okay. I don't think unob would add anything to it and it's more fashion than sport anyway. Def worth trying if you're looking for an open lens and a lighter fit.

I like these, they're really light, lighter than my XLJs. As the guys have already mentioned, they're a budget frame, no unobtanium, but fit well and look pretty cool - especially in this colour combo. Definately a good addition to the range.

I have 2 Half Jackets, but these seem to fit better than the HJ's. I like that they are not as wide as the HJ's. Lenses could be interchanged, but at this time Oakley is NOT planning on producing lens kits.

I'd have to agree that the Bottlecap are a bit of a economy pair of O. A definite hybrid between the half jacket and yardstick rx styles. From what my o-store staff have told me, the lenses are definitely interchangeable (now whether Oakley produces lens kits, that's another question). A decent looking pair of eyewear, but not really drawing me in. All o-matter, no unobtanium.

A really nice "budget" frame. Kinda looks like a stripped-down Half Jacket. After much searching and a little experimentation at my local OPD, the lenses might not be designed to be interchangable. They lose a point for that, but the excellent dual-cam hinges are awesome.

for some reason, the Bottlecap Flesh never did fit me right. it was almost always uncomfortable for me, giving my arch considerable pain. the design is really cool though, they're nice, bold looking laceless shoes with pod-like soles. too bad i can't wear them.

Another great laceless shoe from Oakley. Supremely comfortable, look the absolute business (especially in funky colours red and yellow) and very comfortable. I find they fit particularly well on my thinner feet.

Nice, yeah, like the flesh, but slightly better grips.
The colour schemes are very bold, so they need to be worn with the right pants, but that goes for most I expect...

I got 3 of this slip on. again, I like the pods at the bottom as this one is even better than the pods of the flesh. I like the easiness of slip-on feature. This has the best look among all the flesh family. Shoe Pavillon had it for sale for the longest time. I am still awaiting to get the Yellow which will be my 4th pair

I haven't bought a pair of O-Matter frames in quite a while. These really caught my attention. I'm really starting to like the half frame style. Comfortable fit and light weight. I like the color of the frame and lens. Another first for me, since I usually buy colorways that are a bit more colorful or extreme. These are just a great pair of Oakleys that won't set you back much.
