Frame: FMJ 5.56
Lens: Ice Iridium

The frames on this particular colorway were actually rendered in 5.56, not FMJ+. Coupled with ice iridium, the contrast maintained at least a minimal level of visual appeal. Unfortunately, the overall design failed to meet most expectations, taking what appeared to be aesthetics from both the Half Jacket (frames) and the original Eye Jackets (orbitals). The result: a half-breed looking pair of glasses lacking any truly interesting characteristics. Nothing short of a disappointment.

These were the first Oakleys that I ever saw that I "knew" were fake. I saw two different guys wearing the FMJ/Ice, and they just looked a bit off. They have the defining characteristic of fakes: features of popular styles, but not enough of a single feature for it to be recognizable. If I had a pair, I would be embarrassed to have them on display.

Despite popular opinion on this style I rather like them. They are not as buglike looking as the eye jackets. They have a comfortable fit and they look great with the fire lenses. Not sure if I will buy another, but I do like this particular pair.

Frame: Eye Jacket 3.0 Black/Grey
Lens: Polarized.

This is one of the rare styles that came out here in Manila, Philippines. I got mine from the US. It's an alternative to the half-jacket, if you don't really require interchangeable lenses. The design, however, is not groundbreaking, unlike the original.
Must be the reason why it became discontinued too soon.

Frame: Rootbeer
Lens: Gold Iridium

I don't like the design. Looks like the design engineers of Oakley got lazy and just pick up some parts design from other oakley products (like half-jacket) to beat the deadline.

this is one ugly m***f*** , doesn't cut it compared to gen 1 and 2 eyejacket

I was very disappointed with these. They just seemed like they were put out just to have a new model out. They were fairly comforatble, but the styling was just weak.

its taken me a while to get these,
they arent the most pretty sunglasses you can get but they are comfortable and feel very very sturdy, I think this was done because people were breaking the first 2 eye jackets and wanted something stronger. they arent as much of a wraparound frame as the original eye jacket but are better than other oakleys in terms of light blocking.
this is a great addition to my eye jacket collection but will be my only pair of EJ 3.0

I have to go with Jamie on these. Very disappointing. Considering how popular the original Eye Jacket became, there's not much flattering I can say about these.

Frame: FMJ 5.56

I'm not convinced about the design here, personally I think Eye Jacket 2.0 was better than this. There are few subteties in the design and the amount of O matter around the lenses seems slightly too much.

The eye jacket is one of the all time classics. I would say the e.j. 2 looked pretty dopey to me. So the e.j. 3 styling seemed pretty sweet. I liked the raked look and flush lens design a lot. A nice upgrade in my book! Not vastly popular like the originals, but the e.j. 3 has its place.

I do not like the look of these at all. At first I was excited to hear of a new Eye Jacket, but was extremely disappointed to see these. The design is just ugly and no where as nice as the original. I think they should just leave the Eye Jackets alone until they are ready to make one as good and appealing as the original.

I have always wanted this particular Eye Jacket but never got one. I finally saw one for cheap at the parking lot sale but didn't buy it. I give a 4 because it sorta looks like an M Frame but still retails the oblong long of the original Eye Jacket. too bad it's discountinued as well

A nice step up from the Eye Jacket 2.0 but still not as nice as the original. I saw these after I had first tried Half Jacket and you can see they were built off the same top frame and ear stems. A little sturdier than the Half and better for those who don't need the interchangeable lens. Although, it does seem the Half Jacket is now the cream of the crop.
