Frame:Camouflage, Snow, FMJ and Blood
Lens: Gold and Black Iridium
This is not my favorite frame but still amazing.I received today three new Trenchcoats to my collection.
Big frame but my used Blood are more confortable i think by beeing used, the three new frames are tighter and more closed frames.
The downside is that they are not more on store and Oakley dont sell lens or earspads to then making then more collectibles than usables.
Still an amazing frame specially for big heads.
Frame: Blood
Lens: Black Iridium
These were my first pair of oakleys back in 1995. I saved for 3 months to buy them!! Bought from Mayhem surf shop in York. I loved them then, and love them now. I agree with a lot of the above, they do feel "Brittle" to wear, but, call me over carefull, I wear them with great care, and only for looking good in :) and mine still look good as new, no breakage. One of the best product Oakley ever made,, by far! and as Ian said above, I live the glory days in them!!

Loved them, had them for years and years till two years after ownership, the frame snapped by the eyebrow (thinnest piece). I had Oakley swap them out for a new pair, and they lasted me for another few years, till this time they said they did not have the mold anymore and would not replace/repair. Sad to say I wish I could have kept them, the lenses were awesome, but the frame "o-matter" seriously had issues with longevity.
Frame: Blood
Lens: Black Iridium
I can't say enough about Trenchcoats...they were my first pair of Oakley's. I bought them in 1995 and still have them. They have been through alot sent in for repair a couple times, and now are not used, they are on the shelf in their original 1995 vault for safe keeping!
A quick story about my first experience with Oakley's customer service regarding these frames. It was less than a week before my wedding and I accidentally broke the frame as I caught one of the open stems on a door frame and snapped it's hinge area. I called customer service in a panic because I wanted to take them with me on our honeymoon. I talked with the first rep, he passed me onto the manager after explaining my situation. The manager told me to overnite the glasses to them, they would fix or replace anything needed to bring them back to original condition and then they would overnite the glasses back to me. After telling him my story, he actually said "We definitely want you wearing your favorite Oakleys on your honeymoon!". I was so impressed with their support, repair, and turnaround. I shipped them out overnite, tracked it..they fixed them that day and shipped them back out that nite, and I had them the next morning! I can't say enough for their customer service and my experiences every time I've had an issue (not often).
Unfortunately, as other have said this frame is a more fragile design and I decided after the parts were not available to fix them anymore to put them on the shelf for display only.
I bought a pair of straightjackets in a very close color to my Blood red trenchcoats to use in place of them. Of course that was many pairs of glasses ago! ;)
Frame: Pearl
Lens: Black Iridium
I've wanted a vintage pair of Oakley's for a while and after contemplating buying off a vintage website, I found these on half.com and quickly picked them up. They are huge and look a bit silly, but that's half the fun really. They also came with an older style grey bag, which I haven't seen. The lens covers pretty much your entire frame of view, so no light leaks in. I'd recommend these if you can find them, but if not, get a pair of Monster Doggles. They're pretty much the same thing.
Frame: Fmj 7.62
Lens: black iridium
Quite big but one of my favourite oakley sunglasses...hope to have the snowjungle frame soon...
Frame: Blood
Lens: Black Iridium
I bought these to partially satiate my desire for the Trenchcoats in Pearl. Blood is a really unique color, very true to it's name. It is the very same color as your blood in an IV tube. These glasses help me to relive my "glory days" in of being an Oakley fan, where I would have to save up for months to afford a pair with my cheap summer jobs in High School. They are huge and and retro. These are to Eye Jackets what Eye Patches are to Canteens.

These are my favorite Oakleys ever. Clean and streamlined design, nice and big. A lot of other Oakleys are too small on my face and these were far superior. They were so good. I probably went through about 5 or 6 pairs of these. Wish they were still on the market. No current models are anything near as good as these.
Frame: Snow Jungle
Lens: Black Iridium
A must have for any vintage collection.
A larger version of the super cool Eyejacket, these were released in 1995, and are still pretty cool and wearable today.
Frame: Blood
Lens: Black
Blood is a nice sparkling frame color that requires a bit of sun to truely see. Not as much as the Cinder Red, but they do tend to look black when worn. The lenses are huge as always, but don't stick out at bad at the Pearl frames.
Frame: blackgold
Lens: gold
got it , wore it for a very short period of time , and decided that it was too big for me. never got rid of it , because i liked the colourcombo. and now it sits in the display, hardly used
Frame: Snow Jungle
Lens: Black Iridium
These are huge and gorgeous on your desk but, if huge sunglasses come into style these would be leading the pack
On a side note these are comfortable
Frame: All
Lens: All
I guess I never really understood the point of these. They were just a big version of the eyejacket; to big for most people (me included). The only pair I ever saw that looked good on anybody were the Snow Jungle pair that Dennis Rodman wore.
Frame:Black
Lens:VR28
well ive done it this is pair number 8 and the last piece in the trenchcoat collection.
the black goes very nicely with the VR28.
the two black pairs must be the most rare out of all 8 as i now have the only 2 i have seen.
Frame:Black
Lens:Gold Iridium
number 7 of my collection, these actually look really good in black, i thought they were gonna be boring cos its a matte black frame with gold iridium lenses but they go really well together.
Frame: Black Gold
Lens: Gold
I love the subtlety of these frames. dark, almost black looking in low light & all glimmeritious in the sun
Frame: Snow Jungle
Lens:Black
I love these! Great coverage great fit crazy look! My buddies & I all bought the same pair for an Ice fishing tournament but I have the only remaining pair therefore...I win.
Frame: Blood & White
Lens: Black
Like the Monster Doggles of today, the Jackets of yesteryear need a "bid daddy". So while square lenses may be the thing right now, you just know tides will shift and oval lenses will be back. Just wait ... my Trenchcoats will be back in high fashion soon enough!!
Frame:Pearl
Lens:Black Iridium
Again Cool Glasses, boring colour, its just white, not even a cool FMJ white but plain old boring white.
Frame:Blood
Lens:Black Iridium
Cool name, but rather boring colour, this is basically just dark red, doesnt look like blood at all.
Frame:Black Gold
Lens:Gold Iridium
The big brother of my first pair of oakleys (eye jackets)
This black gold frame looks just as good on the trenchcoat as it does on the eye jacket.
A beautiful Metalic brown colour that sparkles in the sun when you wear them.
This frame colour was born to be teamed up with gold Iridium.
Frame:FMJ 7.62
Lens:Black Iridium
Woo Hoo, Pair number six, got them this morning and this is one of the best frame colours ever.
I love FMJ frames but this one looks the coolest.
The FMJ 7.62 looks perfect when the light shines on it and goes extremely well with the Black Iridium lens.
These are such great glasses only 2 pairs to go now.
Frame:Snow Jungle & Camouflage
Lens:Black Iridium & Gold Iridium
Obviously I like these glasses as I have six pairs at the moment and im hoping to have all 8 one day.
They are very weird looking, and quite big.
I think they are the size inbetween the monster dog and the monster doggle.
They come in some of the best colours oakley have ever made
I love both the camo frames, but for some reason oakley have only replicated these colours in goggle form. Great frame for skiing cos you have total eye coverage with this big lense and When you wear the camo frames on the slopes you look totally badass.
Frame: Blood
Lens: Black
A large frame with a rigid fit. Very much a predecessor to the Monster Dog and Doggle. One thing to watch for, easy breakage. They were never revamped like the Eye Jackets with the metal "O" inset. The first Eye Jacket's ear stems broke at the ear sock often. Trenchcoats broke in the lower frame orbital just as often. For those whom the Eye Jacket is too small.
Frame: Pearl
Lens: Black Iridium
These are clearly designed for athletes - you can see everything, no frame in the way, no light leak. Also very aerodynamic. But they look ridiculous on anyone, so I'd consider wearing them for a big bike race but that's about it. And they have M-Frames for that.
