Bought a user-replacable Titanium Clear (13-544) for my O Rokr, test it for two weeks and this turns to be one of my best Oakley investments.

Despite being "clear" it is quite soothing. It is actually more soothing than VR50 (VR50 being contrast lens so everything appears brigther). I definitely can see the difference between using this lens than naked eye.

I can recommend this lens for driving, especially those who drive in and out of tunnels and shadows. There are very rarely sunlight falls straight into the driver's face, unless, of course, we have the sunroof opened.

The mirror finish shouts "This are sunglasses! Not Prescription Glasses!" Which some people like and some don't. I personally prefer something less reflective as I use these as work Safety Glasses.

Why one of my best investments? This lens makes my O Rokr more versatile:
- I now can use my O Rokr indoor (at shopping centres, for instance)
- I now can use my O Rokr as Safety Glasses at the workshop in my workplace
- I now can use my O Rokr as day and night bluetooth headset (when I am driving other cars that don't have bluetooth carkits). Now I can use one bluetooth "headset" for everything instead of having one for day and one for night.

Recommended for:
- Those who need to wear the Oakley indoor (O Rokr and Thumps come into mind)
- Those who want to turn their Oakley into safety glasses
- Driving, although some people will object to this one.

I have them in the xlj version for half jacket, and they're awesome! It took me ages to ever find them on sale, but I finally did and it was well worth the investment. Great for brighter overcast days, when it's still a little to bright to wear nothing. They work great for anything done at night like skiing, or baseball. They also help soften some light while indoors. Overall great lens.

Had these for work in my Half Jackets. The slight lens tint was okay in normal indoor lighting, but with lights lowered I noticed a difference. Once these got beat up enough I switched to the regular clear. Unsure of exactly the benefit of the ever so slight grey tint. Perhaps a little more reflective?

This is the best lens I've found for reducing my light sensitivity. With these I can spend more than 20 mins in a shop without flipping into panic mode and can use a PC without it triggering a migraine, the bonus being I can still see colours accurately when processing photos.
Plus I'm still approachable because people can see my eyes, vital in an office.

A life-changing lens.

I think some have missed the application of this lens. For me, its priceless. How long have I struggled with the persimmons, the h.i yellows only to be skiing/snowboarding blind at night, in super low light, mountain shade. I knew there was a clear option but it was for the MX crowbar, then an ebay search found these babies. Stylish, but sick light transmission, 10 times better then h.i yellow for night skiing, super stoked to have found these!

The 54% refers to all wavelengths of light not just the visible spectrum. I have this lens in my Flak Jackets along with VR28 black Iridium polarized for the brighter days. The subtle coating works well when out mountain biking in the forest and is also useful when riding in the flood lit bike park. Would definitely recommend these lenses as a 2nd or 3rd tint option.

I have this tint in a pair of Half Jacket XLJs. They are more like some kind of Light Grey than Clear in my opinion. Works fine as a very neutral alternative to coloured siblings (Yellow, Persimmon, Light Blue, G30 etc.) in mixed/cloudy conditions. But I prefer the real Clear as soon as the light is low.
TERRORISM -
Titanium Clear - the name suggests almost exactly how the lens performs: "clear" allows almost all light to filter through, yet the "titanium" stops deadly UV rays from penetrating your eyes. The amazing part about these lenses is that although the titanium iridium provides somewhat of a "mirrored" finish and almost obscures your eyes from the outside world, you can still use them for most activities - including driving - at night. Be aware, however, that they provide almost no protection whatsoever from bright conditions. Still, having your eyes sheltered from UV bombardment is better than nothing...

Must not be to many shooters out there ;) These are great lenses. They block the UV and let enough light in to keep the iris constrected thus maintaining a longer focal distance. Time to adjust from target to sight in greatly minimized. If you are tired of seeing yellow or orange, try these. If you must have a darker lense try G30 or the Jade.

It has a nice semi-mirror effect and they do look much better in reality than on pictures but ultimately when are you going to wear them? A collector's piece only

Unusual effect and technological I must say. A silvery tint on an ordinary clear lens allows 54% light to the eye whilst still guarding against all UV as Oakley claims. Will not hide your eyes and a stormmy weather lens only, useless to wear in the full sun.An un-interesting look I sold my old lenses and I won't be in a hurry to buy anymore.

Nice stylish lens - don't wear them in sunlight cuz they won't do a thing for you. Good for overcast days and even indoors too if you have a nice wire frame. The ghosting is not too bad - you'll get used to it.

Este par lo adapte para Rx y simplemente son lo mejor, gran visibilidad, excelente estetica para mi los mejores Why y los mejore Rx de mi coleccion.

These are just perfect for those overcast days. These will block out the little bit of sun that can come out between the clouds and even if there is no light, you still look very stylish. I agree with those who say it is more of a fashion lens, but a well performed one! Now you can finally wear Oakleys at night/inside.

Good mirror in the glasses i have (juliet, thump2), neutral and bit to light for bright sun, but fashionable color. wearable to all clothes and good for walks in the evening.
Munkfish -
Not really useful, but definitely stand out - love them in carbon Juliets! Definitely a fashion lens.

They look cool from the outside but other than that theese lenses are my favorite aversion. They are utter useless! They dont improve your vision in any way (unlike H. I. Blue for instance)! They add a TINY bit of brownish/reddish tone, mostly percepted as a light increase in warmth, but other than that you are fighting horrible reflections from the inside iridiumcoating - basicly and a general feeling that you are looking at the world through vitawrap.

I think I really love these lenses. I say "think" because I haven't had them long enough to say whether I will love them years from now. I really like the look of them. That said, they do have a problem with reflection on the inside of the lens. This "ghosting" is something that will annoy you if you wear them enough.

Edit: After a year of owning the Ti Clear I can conclude that they serve a purpose. Not a general purpose however. They are good for shady days when you want to look cool. The ghosting effect can be overcome if you really work at it.

I really like these lenses. I have them in my FMJ half jackets by BTO. I wish you could buy these in replacement lenses. They are great for sunset bike rides. That way you can keep your shades on even when the sun is down. I'm definitely getting these for my fourth pair of half jackets, pearl whites. I'll also be looking for a way to get my juliets with these.

I was hoping these would be a clear lens with only a light reflective coating on them, but unfortunately, indoors especially, the reflective titanium coating is pretty strong. That said though, these are a really cool looking set of lenses, especially in my Monster Dogs, it just wasn't what I thought it was. I can hardly see how these are 54% light transmission though, it seems just as light as my ruby clear lenses, which are 92%....
oogie -
Perfect option for those that want the clear lens, but with a little flash. Although the transmission rate seems very high, this lens is just fine in the lowest of light conditions. And the reflectiveness on the outside brings the Oakley slant to a clear lens. Awesome!

These look, um interesting, from the outside, having a faint refelctive quality but but for the wearer, it's hard to notice any real difference. Outdoors, it's only slightly different from their clear lenses and indoors, there's sometimes some bad reflections on the inside. It's probably for the trendier crowd since clear and almost-clear lenses seem in.

This lens was pretty unremarkable. I got it for my HalfJacket, and ended up returning it because it wasn't what I was looking for. It is not very noticable in the sun, but indoors or in the dark, it is. However, I got horrible reflections on the inside of the lens. This prompted their return.

The concept of a clear lens with a mirror on it is cool enough to get a 2. Ruby Clear and Gold Clear might be better options if you can find them.
sparra -
My brother has these in his Dartboards, and they look very cool from the outside. However, I agree with Alexis, I can't see much effect in changing light transmission. However, for the cool factor plus the obviously great protection - a good lens.

i use these on really overcast days when it seems dark outside but i still end up squinting without any sunglasses. these work really well for these days, and the 100% UV protection helps. they're pretty much clear lenses with a mirror coating, but cuts enough light to make things confortable to see through. other than that, they're pretty much for the fashion conscious.
Dann -
These aren't to be confused with the other Clear lens, which is used for Prescription glasses, and let pretty much all light in. The Titanium Clear lets half the light in, which is plenty well into even nighttime. I wear these to the movie for some reason (I made it a tradition, don't ask why), and also when driving at night. They are still 100% UV protecting, and have a mirror coating that you can't easily see past from the outside.
x-metalman -
In my opinion, an utterly useless lens. It doesn't really bring anything to the table, except ghosting problems and a transmission rate that has to be a lie. The Ti coating rarely comes into effect, so that's a no for me. Rick seems to like these, but he's pretty much Japanese now and they're notorious for their clear lens fascination. Sorry guys, not my bag. Yet anyway. Until the mirror coating gets a little better.
dirtjump_boy -
i dont like the ghosting efect something that annoys me, but the most is that this lens is utter useless, when its sunny u its like u dont wear anything and when its overcast it makes everything even darker not like h.i yellow/blue or persimmon.
Titanium Clear is for the fashion side.
LEX7 -
I dont see how these are 54%, when I used this lens outdoors I really could not tell the difference between wearing it and not wearing it.
Ihe titanium coating does make it look good from the outside
But i dont know why this lens is appearing on so many different oakleys at the moment.
