Looks like the Hijinx got some new lens options in the custom eyewear page (ruby, fire, ice, emerald ect).

I wouldn't mind seeing more sunglass frames in black chrome or polished aluminum. Two of my all-time favorites.

Overall, the Hijinx frame design reminds me of the Fox Dean model.

Does anyone have any information on new Oakley Ducati models for this year? Personally I’d like to see a Ducati Spike happen.

^Yes. Jet Black is a paint finish where as Polished black color is made using a different method from what I was told. If you hold a pair of Polished black sunglasses up to the light you can see a red hue to them.

You can't go wrong either way but I'd go with the white.

I’d go with the GMT in Stealth Black. One the best looking watches out there.

The Polished/Ti Romeo 2’s are by far the best color combo. Great looking pair of shades and great for a number of different light conditions. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks Dann, You’ve given Oakley fans a much-needed outlet. I for one have learned a lot from this site. Maybe Oakley should put you on the payroll.

Are you sure? If so something must have changed recently.

I wouldn’t hold out to much hope for the Jigsaw if you were looking for sunglasses. The last time I talked to an Oakley rep, I was told that the Jigsaw was a prescription eyewear frame and not a line of sunglasses. Of course thing always change with Oakley.

Hmm… I was told that the Gascan’s general release had been pushed back to June. But who knows with Oakley. Well I’ll let you guys in on some info: there will be a black chrome/Titanium Iridium Gascan released part number: 03-654 and it will sell for $150.00. I believe it is a exclusive color but not sure who will get it. I seen a pic of it the other day and it’s the best color hands down, a real jaw dropper.

I talked to an Oakley rep a couple of weeks ago about the Gascan’s. The color ways are on par with what we’ve seem the last few years. Jet Black, Mattel Black some brown or Tortoise frame and a few others I can’t recall. There were two colors that sounded cool. A White frame with Black Iridium lenses and a Grape (yes purple) frame with gray lenses. He told me nothings been confirmed but thats what it looks like as of now.

I couldn't agree with you more Jamey. But of course Oakey is making the turn down fashion road to increase sales. So I sure we'll see more fashion oriented frames and less innovative futuristic frames in the years to come.
My biggest concern with Oakley going down this path is there are already alot of companies like Smith Optics doing the same thing with fashion frames. And to me a company like Smith gives the customer more bang for the buck. Smith has a lifetime warrany on all there frames now plus there frames come with a carrying case and their less expense.
Hopefully the top brass at Oakley will put more thought into what their doing and find a way to combined fashion and innovation in to their sunglasses. And having there sunglasses come with a carrying case wouldn't hurt too.

I hope Oakley is going to get back to making sunglasses that set trends instead of just following them. It would be nice to see them come up with some extreme styles like what they did with the Scar, Splice, and Plate in years past with their Over the Top line. And some new frame and lens colors wouldn't hurt either. Anything but the brown and dull earth tones they've been doing the last two years.
Hey, anyone know if any of these new styles for 2005 are going to have ruby lens?
