$3,500-$7500 (though it'll probably go for $1,500-3,800 in the aftermarket) for an Oakley watch? I wonder what their goal exactly is with this watch? If The King is a regular edition that they hope to use to enter the upper-mid luxury segment of watches, they better have something that defines them as a serious watch maker such as an in-house produced automatic movement or the Geneva Seal or something. The segment is already saturated with serious watch houses like Rolex, IWC, VC, UN, Omega, JLC, GP, Panerai, etc. etc. that Oakley's gonna fall flat on their face if they don't have anything that separates them form the prestigious brands.
Of course, if The King is a limited edition like the Gold Timebomb and it doesn't matter how long it takes to sell out (if it ever does), then it wouldn't matter.
