I haven't bought anything Oakley in awhile and I think it is time!
When I first saw the Romeo 2, I didn't like it but now the more I see it the more I like it.
I am thinking about buying the pair with the titanium irridium lens ,but I like dark lenses. I hate squinting in bright sunlight.
Will the titanium lens be dark enough in bright sunlight?
Maybe I shoud get the black irridium, but it is kind of boring.
What do you all think?

I have the Polished/Titanium Romeo 2's and yes, the Titanium lenses are dark enough in bright sunlight. I had the same concerns about the Ti lens at first, but after wearing it, it's one of my favorite lenses, if not THE favorite. I would definitely recommend the Polished/Ti R2's. Almost everyone here who has them, love them. And the one's who don't have them, want them.

And the Polished/Ti isn't blingy like everyone thinks. It's a nice combo that isn't boring like the black pairs.

Just got mine on Tuesday. Highly recommended. Ti Iridium is perfect for bright days, it just has a brown tint rather than a grey tint like Black Iridium. I prefer Ti any day over Black. The Polished frame is a work of art... shows off the scuplpted earstems very nicely.

I've got a few new things to take pictures of. Hope to get to it by the weekend.

I've seen X-Metal with custom Ruby for the Romeo 22. It's possible to get those if you happen to know someone from R&D. I've been bugging and probing the right people to come up with a single pair for my own enjoyment. I may not like the R2 as much as the Romeo 1 but what are you gonna do.

I meant Romeo 2, not 22.

They're so rare, maybe they should have a different name than the rest.

Sallie, go for the Ti's. I had the X-metal / Polarized Black Iridium, and always felt they were a little to bland, so ended up selling them and getting something else, because I couldn't commit on the Polished Ti's because nobody in West Oz stocks them. But I've now come to the belief they are by far the best on offer, and when the funds are available again....there MINE 100%. So go for em....I can't see you being dissapointed, the R2's just fit so nice.

The Polished/Ti Romeo 2’s are by far the best color combo. Great looking pair of shades and great for a number of different light conditions. You won’t be disappointed.
