In honor of the O-Review’s fifth birthday, its community efforts to promote the health of the Oakley brand, and an inspirational video once posted on the site ( http://o-review.com/portal_detail.asp?ID=8457 ), I decided to promote a small competition. I’ve come to own 10 pair of fake Oakley sunglasses and microfibers which, as you can see from the pictures, obviously need destroyed.





I will ship out one of these monstrosities to each of the first 10 brave O Knights who will stand at her defense. I’ll fund the shipping, but the contest rules provide no provisions for items arriving with defects. I’m not flying these things first class. Then, it will be up to you to document your destruction however you see fit. Post the results here and we can hopefully have a vote to declare a winner.

The contest closing dates will be determined based on interest and involvement. Please keep it safe! Neither the O-Review nor any of its members are responsible for property damage or personal injury sustained during annihilation.

If you don't mind posting to the UK count me in, I have an ingenious idea for their destruction...our 8 month old Jack Russel terrier, he's gone through 4 footballs, 2 chairs numerous toy cars, a set of earphones, my passport and too much other stuff to list here, he could do with chewing on some foakleys

Dorian, just make sure your Dog is safe, you know how those crappy fakes breaks into pieces and you would not want to hurt the dog by mistake, but maybe he can go trough it.

So, upon package arrival and planning your evil methods of demolition, simply document your proceedings and share the results. The same goes for the write-in contestants. Although voting can be held as soon as everyone has posted, the official deadline has been set at August 1st. That seems like a long time from now, but I know it takes a while to reserve C4.

I'm working on the first prize. More to come on that.

I just got them in the mail. I have the silver/rainbow juriet's. The metal on the frame is kinda thick, so I might rethink my strategy a bit, but this is gonna be fun! You're the man Bob!

Glad you got them. And I'm not sure those juriets are made of metal. I think they are some kind of homemade crystalized playdough that's super cheap to make. At least that's what I would make my juriets out of.
