I seen a commerical for fruit gushers or somethimng like that. The one guy looks like he has some sort of AP vest and on his left shoulder looks like an O icon
i so want to see the green hornet, but on the same hand dont!-i remember the original when bruce lee starred as kato, the film which made him famous, and then went on to greater things.......i hope the remake is good, as i was bought up with bruce lee and collect his memorabilia, and dont want to be dissapointed if its a bad film.
PHenomenal. I just watched (the 2nd time) Tron with the 3d Gascans. Much better (need it be said?) than the Real3d glasses that the theatre gives you.
I told the ticket guy to keep the Real3d glasses, he was very confused.
Me: "I don't want the glasses"
Him: "b.b.b.b.b.bbbb..uuuuut it's a 3D movie. You'll need it to see the movie"
ME: "Trust me, I don't need them"
Him: "But I have to give them to you sir."
Me: "no thanks"
Him: "I need to tell the manager that you refused the glasses" (I guess to I can't complain and get my money back???)
Me: (holding up the TRON 3d Gascans) "No need. seriously. I have my own 3d Glasses"
Him: silence. Quizzical look as he hands me my tickets.
ONe of my friends and I, swapped glasses several times to see the differences in the scenes. The glasses are definitely worth it.
oke, guys, i must see tron with 3d hdo oakleys, since it is my first 3d movie since a long time, i must say this.. i expect oakley 3d hdo glasses will make the theater pair, like something from a gas station pair.....
I got my Tron gascan last week and went to se the 3D movie again last night. And my new 3D glasses are a lot better than the ones you get in the theatre.
Went to see Tron at the Imax in London: but for some reason they didn't work for me(whether the fact that I wear prescription glasses comes into it I just don't know)I had to wear the cinema ones. If I didn't I got 'ghosting' on the edges of the frame, which was a large part of the frame. So my experience was dissapointing, expecting this amazing show, but it was just a no-show.
IMAX uses a different type of passive polarized technology that will not work with Oakley's HDO 3D eyewear. Where Oakley uses circular polarized lens, IMAX will use a linear polarized lens so the light waves that are projecting at out are different. A safe rule of thumb when using the eyewear is to look for the RealD logo which is used for 80% of movie theaters. Even if your movie theater features both IMAX and standard theaters they will only work in the standard theaters.
A similar question: I know the Oaklye 3D doesn't work with IMAX 3D, and is specified to work with RealD ... but how about the 'Digial 3D', which I presume is another name for Dolby 3D??? I haven't been out there to test it out, but have tried to look for info to provide an answer. Is Oakley 3D down with Digital / Dolby 3D??
