That's no O. A quick google search and about 10 min of investigation turn up that they are a discontinued IZOD sunglass.

Ian, was the "The mark of the Douche" comment really necessary? I like to reserve the "douche" status for a pair that was original cool, but then runed because every Joe Bloe that wants to be/thinks they are cool buys it in mass.

If you don't like Dispatch thats fine, its not a style for everybody. It was not mean to have mass market apeal like the Gascan (that is what fuel cell if for) so I doubt you will see it reach the status of the white Gascan or white with ghost text oil rig. It was designed with the alternative/urban market in mind. It was aimed squarely at the Von-Ziper and Spy target market.

If any thing the next white gascan, will be by default the white Fuel Cell. We have only had it for a little over a week in my store and I only have one left.

Wow there has been quite the mix of reactions here to the C Six. Unfortunately I have only seen photos of this one, pretty much the same ones you have all seen. I really like it, and have had some interest in it from customers as well. As I said in another thread (where I went way off topic) but here is something I have not seen posted yet, that may make some difference to some of you.

C Six Warranty Information:

Lifetime Lens Replacement (yep, lifetime!)

4 Year Limited Warranty on Frame:
Year 1 Repair or replace
Year 2 Repair or 50% of value toward Oakley Product
Year 3 Repair or 25% of value toward Oakley Product
Year 4 Repair or 10% of value toward Oakley Product

The X-Squared is a thing of beauty! Customers, much like all of you, have responded very well to it. I was going to right up a short review, but the one that Nic did beats anything I could have written so I give up.

On the Pit Boss as Josh said the initial batch did "sell out" but you have to remember that Oakley is primarily a wholesale company so sold out to them means that retailers had bought all the units they produced. My store got 7 of all three colors and sold out of all but one of the rootbeer pair. I am glad they have done another run, because as others have said the C Six has sparked interest in the Elite line and only 4 Oakley Stores (and sadly mine is not one of them) will get them. I think something like only 10 stores will get the aluminum version, and only 25 stores are getting the Time Bomb II. We have had 3 customers come in and ask to see the C Six but only one of the was even half way serious about buying one. I have talked the some of the managers of stores that are getting them and all but one of them says theirs is already spoken for.

Edit: Okay wow this is supposed to be a X-Squared thread and I really went off the rails there. Sorry!

You should so send his boss an email. I did that once for a customer and did not even get so much as a thank you. Then to make it even worse the same guy comes back a few months later asking for me to give him one of my links for a second Time Tank he did not even buy from us (I am guessing ebay seeing as it was already sized and he did not have links) then wanted to complain to my boss when I told him I couldn't because I all ready gave him all my extra parts the first time!

I wear everything I have but I would have two say what gets used and abused would be my SI Boots and Shoes, and my half jackets (they are my work in the yard set) and my Monster Dogs (they are my lake, pool, goof off pair).

You guys have a contract? Come on...really? I've walked out with almost $1000 at a time and (no watches) and no one has made me sign a contract.
They are supposed to. Especially on multiple pairs of DE. Its called a bulk sales form. It's important for us (employees) to protect the brand, and customers from bulk resellers.

It hurts the customer (again especially when we are talking about DE), because the are paying more than they should and 98% of the time the reseller is not letting the customer know that A: the product has some type of damage and B: It has no warranty.

Evan...seeing that some similar sellers are from my area, I'll suggest to you what I came up with. I've noticed that one day certain shades will be in my vault...and the next day they'll be online. No boxes if they're DE items...only bags
and that is exactly what is happening in most cases. Someone buys DE from one of our Vaults (some times DE stuff can be as cheep as $30) and then they flip it on to ebay for a price lower than retail but not as cheep as you could have got it yourself at the Vault. We try really hard to keep this from happening, and if they bought a lot at once they would have signed what is basically a contract stating the items are not for resale. So Oakley legal can go after them.

The big thing to remember is this, the reason DE is so cheep in Vaults is because it was eyewear used as displays (that is what DE stands for) in other stores and usualy has some type of damage. They will either come with no box or a generic box often with a miss matched label, or no label at all.

To go along with Dan's DVD Project I would like to do a photo book. I am resurching the best way to have it printed, and the best way to give access to you guys who might want one as well. I am going to give the flicker pool a few more days to fill up, then I will contact anyone through flicker if they have a photo I want to use. If you give me permission to use your photo (s) I will make sure and acknowledge you in the book someway (probably a credits type page).

So far pricing looks like it could run from $20 to $40 depending how many pages it come out to be, and rest assured I would not be doing this to make any money, my hope is I can create it then provide a direct link for you to purchase it yourself. I will create a new topic as I get better details.

Dan sorry to hijack your thread, I just did not want to clutter the place up with a new one until I get more specifics but at the same time wanted to let people know I was working on something.

Hello all, Brandon here! Your friendly neighborhood Oakley employee and fan! I have been a lurker here for a while but after meeting you all at the Co-pilot event I ask Dan to make me an account so I could be more interactive. ( I used to have one but it seems to no longer exist)

I am so glad to see how much you all enjoyed the event, I know Joanne and Cale worked there asses off to give you a good time. It was an excellent time for me as well, and I enjoyed getting to know a lot of you that are here. I look forward to getting to know you all better through the site and if I can help you with anything let me know.

So I am going to run for now it looks like I have a lot of reading to do if I am going to know what is going on around here!

No one spoke up, so I said 'I know', but already had a prize.
They said, 'try anyway', so I listed the first 12, and they just laughed and threw the glasses at me.
That was beyond impressive, I think they should have given you two extra prizes for making it to 12!
