I really can't decide what to do next as far as my custom Radar collection goes. I only have a black/red combo (team CSC) and a white chrome/G30 combo as of now. I need inspiration to grow....

Post your custom Radar pics!

Been saving up to do a Team Blue and Gold iridium combo- Notre Dame thing, but alas... recent purchases have caused that to be put on hold. But would definitely like to see some of the cool combos this crew can come up with.

Some of those combos are quite nice, but I'm not sure about changing the nosepiece in the center.

I love the nose piece swap. I played around with a few at SGH. So easy to do and no one else here has tried it.

What do you mean by not being sure?

You're forgiven. That's a beautiful JB custom. Love the white on it. The Radars look pretty cool as well. A very '80s look to them.

What do you mean by not being sure?
"Not sure" on two separate counts: not sure I like them that way and not sure how to change the nosepieces themselves.

Well it's no photoshop so it is clearly doable.

And I believe it brings the word CUSTOM to just one more level.

They nose piece mount is a separate piece. It twists off and twist snaps back on.

I'm not a nose-swapper. But I do swap everything else! Nick = Radar Love.

And here's the whole gang together:

Thx for your childish opinion Terrorism.

Always good to hear what a guru like you has to say.

Nonetheless, Nick I love your Radar combos!
That model was drafted for you I think!

Any love on the Jawbone yet?
Or will you be a loyalist to the ''old'' Radar?

It's a tough call heh?

No problem. Thanks for trying to "bully" others with your comments and not allow anyone to tactfully express their opinions.

Now who's childish?

C'mon buddy. Relax & stop kidding yourself.

Everybody agrees that Nick's combos are amazing
And perhaps better than the ones I posted.
But that's not important, it doesn't matter
- Ricardo said it best!

This website is not about competition
It's a place of leisure where it is good to share
Not to try & come off as being the best o-reviewer

But nobody's got as much free time as you do.
And nobody's got as many glasses as you do.

So you win. Congratulations.

I apologize if I bullied you.

Hey, bro, it's all good. I did give credit where it was due and even gave a compliment to the first set of Radars (please see my above PM)... Just didn't prefer the swapping of the nosepieces. If that's what makes someone happy, then more power to 'em.

And I'm not sure where "I have more glasses" has anything to do with it. I never mentioned or even implied that. I simply like to be honest and sincere when giving remarks and don't feel that it's necessary for anyone to give "flak" over it, that's all.

Relax you two...

Some of those multi-colored Radars remind me of the old Tour de France Razor Blades I had back in the day. Wish I would have held on to those. Anybody have a pic of them?

I was never completely taken by the Radar, but seeing Alex and Nick's customs makes rethink my opinion of the glasses.

Nice work, guys.

I am with you Yukio. Only until seeing some of these crazy combos have I even paid attention to the Radar. Now I totally want one. I have no idea how I'll come to the decision as to which one to buy though.

As for the "Best O-Reviewer" debate/debacle, I think we all know the true answer to that question....

Thanks for the kind words, all. Freesh, you have some sweet pairs too -- the crazier the better, I say :)

As far as the Jawbone goes ... the jury is still out. I really love the bottom rimless, but they say the Jawbone is big enough for that not to matter.

Actually, I just fell in love with the Zero ... but there isn't nearly the breadth of colorways available for that one.
