I am definitely pumped. I received an email from the organizers, but I just can't shake this feeling that the other foot is about to drop. I've never won anything in my entire life so this is really hard to believe. I just wish everyone at the O-Review was selected.

I'm just writing to let you know how happy I am for all of you who are going. I know you'll represent the family we have here with pride and respect.

I also am letting you know that I will be taking a break from this site for the next few months. It literally pains me to hear and think about all the great stuff you guys are going to experience that I won't. Hearing about it will just make me feel even worse than I do now, so I'm just going to try and avoid it.

I really am happy for all of you guys, and I hope you have the time of your lives. Drink a beer for me.

Just checked out the co-pilot contest. I knew i should have at least tried to enter the contest but was too lazy (i kick my self for that) and thought that the whole time us Canadians cannot enter the contest. I congratulate all those who got on the winners list and wish you all luck.

i have already told a couple of members here.

it is sad.. and i will state this i will not be entering in none contest from oakley.

as collecting goes it has slow a bit so no harm done.

will take a break not because i can't stand not winning but to me i again my opinion some key members where left out for some guys who has less passion in my eyes for the o, and am not talking about members here.

again enjoy the trip. save flight everyone ,i hope all members get safe there and safe back home.

I can feel it too you guys. Seeing hardcore fans and brothers in the same game like yourselves get passed by for some guy who has a "tramp stamp" tattoo on his lower back (YUK!!!!!) with no real collection, or other people with no pix or mediocre submissions is the part that cuts like a knife! I know they very well couldn't pull all of us, that would be a bit obvious, and it easily could have been me in that list or any of us, but to lose out to lessors is hard. The pain from my surrogate Oakley family is felt!

Just want to say congrats to all the OR guys that got in...you guys must be so stoked and on cloud nine at the moment...commiserations to the guys that didn't get in....myself included.

Mike (warwagon) rang me this morning and gave me the good news...so happy for him...its great to see an Aussie OR member going to HQ...and thoroughly deserved I might add...congrats again Mike.

Also great to see that alot of OR guys got selected..what a party it will be...congrats go out to Dann, Josh, Rick, Phil, Travis, O-Whores, Steve and anyone else that I have missed.

Also thanks to Mark for all his efforts and especially in trying to get the international guys into the comp...well done mate.

This is the first time I have ever won anything...I can tell you that I was a bit nervous...you never could tell what they were looking for. I am very lucky.

A bittersweet victory-I feel for those who hoped to go.

in regards to some of the winners and why some of our brothers were not chosen, 1)i dont think it has something to do with your location because Mike was in.2)maybe there is some techinal flaws in the contest, it was evident when it started that everyone has a hard time with the site, and when the judges are choosing, maybe some profiles , answers, pics, vids, shows different from what they could see and what we could see.3)and for sure its obviously unfair for our OR brothers.

i dont know if we could do something at this point, we dont want our OR brothers to loose their passion, it is sad. i guess we will ask them how they judge it when we get there...once again dont loose hope OR brothers, there will be more to come, this just a beginning.

They did say this the "First" Oakley Co-Pilot Team. Which eludes to the fact that there will definitely be more...

unless of course we all get there, get trashed, and ruin it for the future attempts...I hope we can keep that from happening!! HAHA...
