I was looking at that the other day and they did a great job with it. Gosh darn it brought back memories!

Yep, gloriously cluttered Geocities is what I remember from the late ‘90s websites. Ah the memories!

Near universal praise for Captain Marvel as the social media embargo has lifted:

https://www.comicbookmovie.com/captain_marvel/captain-marvel-reactions-say-its-surprising-unlike-any-marvel-movie-ever-ben-mendelsohn-steals-the-show-a166594

Most of the Twitter reactions from the link are from critics, so I’m assuming the movie will get good ratings when the actual review embargo lifts in a couple weeks. I’ve read it’s more of a character piece with less action than what is usually expected of these movies, so that may disappoint some of the general audience.

Not sure how credible this is, but since upgrading my entertainment system to 4K I’ve been wanting a Star Wars box set in 4K. Today I stumbled across this...

I spoke with George Lucas this morning and he confirmed it!!! J/K JP, that would be awesome if they did do that though. My wife and I have been kicking around the idea of buying a 82” TV for our living room. Would be great to watch SW in 4K on it.

Maybe the 4k version will be released a couple weeks before the 8k version.

If I were you Rich I'd just wait for the 100" TV. LOL

Definitely go for the 80+ TV, Rich! Especially if you are living in the 60ish size right now, the difference in screen size is so awesome. I finally made the move to 4K a couple months back, and I’m this close to buying Saving Private Ryan for the 3rd time.

I wonder at what size is it more effective to go with a projector? I have a 75" TV in the living room and was thinking of upgrading to 86" as well, but I wonder if a projector would be a better option.

Anyways, new Avengers: Endgame trailer with the new suits at the end:

Oak I was never a fan of the projectors but then again I've never had one either. I'd say go with the 86."

I must resist watching it!

Have a look at the new 4K projectors ... you will be very surprised at how amazing they look. if 86" is big enough then stay with a Screen.... but if you want larger the projector is the way to go.

Ive had a 1080p 100" set up for the past 10yrs and love every bit of it. Done right a projector is a fantastic way to go, but to get the best effect it needs to be in a dedicated dark room. If you have lots of ambient light then stay with the 86" TV

The trailer tells you almost nothing, they look good in their white suits though

Yep, they gave nothing of the plot which is excellent. The Russo Bros know how to build hype for their movies without giving away too much. They do give a few clues and foreshadow things: the red highlights in the black and white scenes; how Hawkeye gets pulled back in and perhaps why; the timing of things based on Black Widows hair. Subtle stuff. But the again, this may all be intentionally misleading to surprise us like they did with a few things in Infinity War.

Avengers: Endgame social media reactions are overwhelmingly positive:

https://www.comicbookmovie.com/avengers/avengers_endgame/avengers-endgame-the-first-spoiler-free-social-media-reactions-for-the-epic-marvel-finale-have-arrived-a167929

The only somewhat negative one I've seen thus far is from John Campea who says the first two hours are mediocre but finishes brilliantly.

It's a good time to be a comic fan.
