I endorse that purchase! The Wind Jacket is an underrated pair, and the Ducati was the best of the lot.

Any significance to the 453 number on the tank - Dann

I think that's just the number on the tank when Oakley bought it.

I agree this one is pretty sweet considering there isn't much variation among Split Jacket colorways. So this definitely stands out. It is a shame this one is pretty beat up especially for the price because I would love to get ahold of one of these.

I opted for the Infinite Hero edition since I wanted some color, and it was a little easier to get ahold of.

I concur. The number seems to be just an arbitrary bumper number. It follows the Sino-Soviet numeric convention, but I am unable to confirm if this number is truly original to the frame or if it was added after it first arrived in NV. Either way, Oakley was not the ones who put it there so it's as original as it gets I guess.

I am finally in the market for a pair of RX Os. I figured I would just take one from the collection, go to my OPD and get some new lenses ordered.

Found out today that my cyl is beyond anything that Oakley can handle for their standard frames.

My question is, do Oakley offer their full range of tints and iridium coatings for their RX frames?

I believe they do. There's a premium of course, but Oakley does the prescription in house, so they have the ability.

Anyone happen to know why the Cobalt frame EV Zero is labeled as "Planet X"? I thought Planet X was a grey/black color, not blue/black. Is it just one of those anomalies, or is there a real significance behind it?

Guessing it was just an oversight. You're correct in that Planet-X is the grey crackle, while cobalt is the blue. There were a few others like Fuel, Gold-X, and Texas Tea.

Thought so. I guess it really doesn't matter anyway since the colorway is basically the same. The cobalt and +Red go very well together. Still, it is a bit curious since that color combo is one of the well known non-special-edition special editions. Guess Oakley should check out the database more often! lol! Thanks.

You'd use a slotted screw driver.

Yes oak but i can not figure out a safe way of loosening it. Is the only way to do it is by using 2 slotted screw driver? One to prevent from turning and the other the one used to turn loose?

New guy here

Before I add a load of new items to the database (and hopefully not make a mess) is there...
...anything I need to know?
...something I have missed (have these already been added)?

I don't know all the data so plan on filling it out as best I can, I just found when trying to link some of my collection they did not exist when trying to link them:

OO9013-99 - Green Fade Frogskin (Didn't check if it is the only Green Fade not to have been added or if all require adding)
24-418 - Heritage Edition Frogskin
OO9140-12 - Heritage Edition Razor Blade
OO7050-01 - Original Flight Deck
OO7045-07 - Factory Pilot Blackout O2 XL (Not sure if other Factory pilot Blackout/Whiteout editions have been added or not, same as Green Fade)
OO7070-02 - Liner Miner (From what I could see only the Inferno lens options have been added)
OO7050-46 - Seth Morrison Signature Flight Deck

I found the search feature after I posted this and saw that all the glasses were already in under Collectors... rather than the standard field and added the goggles after coming up empty on the search

Yeah, best bet, do a SKU search in the upper field. That will determine if it's in the Database. The Collectors notation is for the re-releases since I wouldn't consider them to be the same as the originals.

Goggles are definitely needed since I've really slacked on adding those, so thanks for the help on that.
