Very cool. I'm waiting for the next update to drop since I'm getting some rather ugly edge effects on some recent photos. Seems to be due to the latest patch.
I know he might like all pictures posted on Holopix and follow at least half of the community. This might not even be him behind his account.

UGH, Jim has some health issues according to the article. I hope nothing too serious. Kinda bummed that the phone has been cancelled. Was hoping to give it a try at some point.
Ah, that's too bad. I honestly haven't used the phone since last year around this time (I recall Halloween photos as my last attempt), but I hoped the next versions would improve. Jim always took gambles though. It allowed him to do what he did with Oakley, and for RED in all the other instances where the cameras proved successful. The phone market is just dominated by Apple and Samsung at this point. It's a hard one to crack.
Really hate to hear he is having health issues. Hopefully it's nothing major and he can enjoy retirement. Although I have a hard time thinking anyone like Jannard stays truly retired for long.
I agree. I hope all is ok with him and it's much deserved but I wonder how long it will last. Men like him don't keep quite for long.
That being said I know there is a lot of negativity on the h4v forums as well as Facebook. It sucks it's been cancelled, certainly the negative reviews didn't help. While I'm not saying the phone was perfect. Far from it...it was and is still unique. I'll keep rocking my H1 and still will take and upload the 4v photos.
I never went into it thinking I was owed anything. No one put a gun to my head and told me I had to buy the phone. I went into it because I believed in it and wanted something different. That's what I got.
I hope that someday a unique design will come up again but until thrn ill rock the phone as long as I can.
